My favourite show no bad language or over loud background music just great writing and a fantastic cast and brilliant interesting characters. It's a pity that ITV can't make more programmes like this instead of those bloody awful cheap and nasty reality shows ...

OMG, I love LOVE this show. Doc Martin is such a brilliant character and so rude and abrupt LOL! The most hilarious and moving scenes, full of gore and kooky characters!!!! Brilliantly cast, and beautiful scenery! I'm glad I can watch the repeats on itv3!

There's something about the simplicity and innocence of this series that draws me to it.

One of the ABSOLUTE BEST Series I have ever watched, so disappointed it is over, I missed seeing the season 10 episodes, can't find it on my ROKU Channels. I subscribed to ACORN TV via ROKU, but, can't view the new show. So disappointed 😞😞😞

I have a story for all of you...I am an American and I live in Florida...BUT BUT BUT...This is my absolute favorite favorite show. PERIOD!!! ...ever since I stumbled onto this show... channel surfing...I see this photo of Doc (Martin Clunes) and it was actually season 7...on my Amazon Prime/Acorn TV channel...so I thought okay I'll check it out...Now I usually use the CC on my TV because sometimes I struggle with the accents...and I do not want to miss anything..and for whatever reason the first 4 seasons did not have closed caption...so I started season 5 and then binged until the end of season 9... I fixed my CC and watched seasons 1-4...and NOW I kid you not I have watched and do watch this show EVERY SINGLE NIGHT...FOR THE PAST SIX + MONTHS..seriously seriously ....EVERY SINGLE NIGHT without fail...I still watch a few episodes every night...I cannot get through the night without watching at least 3 episodes...when I get through season 9 I go right back to season 1 and start all over...I cannot help it ...this show has just burrowed itself into my brain and it will Not let go.. I am so happy about that TOO ...I look forward to every night when Doc Martin comes on...YES!!!!!!!!!!

I just can’t get enough of this show. Every person in earth has come alive to me makes me smile makes me laugh and takes me away from the treachery of daily life. Makes me think anything is possible. This made me cry! I absolutely love this programme, me and my husband love it so much, when we have a night in, my husband always says let's watch a Doc Martin dvd and we laugh so much! Martin Clunes was made for this part, he does it so well! And so is Caroline Catz! Love Mrs Tishall and the policeman, but to be honest everyone of them is a character, and a fabulous actor! 😊

we actually went to Port Isaac (ie Port Wenn) 5 years ago . . . from Canada . . . yes its true . . . all four of us my two university-aged daughters, my husband and me . . . we took a flybe from Gatwick and rented a car and spent 5 days . . . AND it was our second family trip to Cornwall 💜 we're not even wealthy . . . we just LOVE Cornwall

Mrs Tishell bugged me at first. After rewatching a few times, she makes me laugh. Penhale is just so fun yo watch. He’s such a likable character.

I will miss the Doc Martin television show very much. Being of Cornish descent it was a bit interesting and enjoyable. I looked forward to each episode to visit Port Wenn a bit like the Scottish like Brigadoon. Because those short new installments allowed the viewers to leave their personal cares behind and have a look at the recent adventures at Port Wenn.I do believe that we have not seen the last of this show and the cast possibly having a reunion.

When the Hell is PBS going to stop playing with us and bring this back on?!

No doubt whatsoever it's coming back. They do love to tease with a cliffhanger though!! Obvs the Doc will be reinstated as a Doc through some yet to be revealed circumstances and we will return again to the joys of Portwenn. What fabulous characters they are, love them all.

I just discovered this show; Binged seasons 1-8 in two days! I pre ordered season9 on Amazon. Please seasons 10 and 11!

I DO NOT BELIEVE THERE IS ANY OTHER #1FAN TO MATCH HER LIVE FOR THE WHOLE SHOW. SHE LOVED HOWVTHE ACTORS SPOKE SLOW ENOUGH FOR HER 89 YR OLD EARS TO HERE AND UNDERSTAND. I GOT TO HEAR AND SEE ALL THEVSMILES HOURVSHOW BROUGHT FORTH FOR HER. SHE SUFFERED A RARE AUTO IMMUNE DISEASE CALLED BULLOUS PEMPHIGOID. THE MEDS THAT GAVE HER A QUALITY OF LIFE IS WHAT TOOK HER. Oh wow! i am so happy i absolutely love the series. When i retired on my wish list was to visit the UK & to make sure i didnt miss Cornwall & most of all to visit Port Isaac (Port Wenn). Lucky enough to visit the Port in May 2018. I felt like a child quivering with excitement & i had to pinch myself when i stood in the Bay it was so picturesque . Having travelled from Tasmania Aust. 🇦🇺 i could not believe i had actually achieved my dream . The UK is so beautiful i felt sad to leave. ✈

I don't like how they ended the season with the cliffhanger. I mean I loved it, but there was this "What is Doc going to do now that he's resigned?". I do hope though that there will be enough demand for ITV to commission another series!

Every time they announce the next series they say it will the last, and then they end it in a way that clearly shows they intend to continue. Just keep going until you can't go any further, I say.
