I just find it funny that she, after a decade of turning Star Wars into a girl/trans brand, is still bitching about a male dominated audience... that is admission of failure, her entire project has failed. And it 100% can be done, she just completely failed, even the women and LGBTQ audiences reject this pandering. Saw the first two episodes and I enjoyed It. Leslye Headland is a Star Wars fan and has read a lot of the EU. I think KK has put her in a no win situation though with her condescending comments about the fans though. It’s hard for fans to love something when the supposed head of the franchise is trashing the fan base for being toxic. Star Wars will be in shambles until Kathleen finally steps down.

The reviews for this show are guaranteed to be more entertaining than the show itself.

My last “fool me” moment was Kenobi. The bait n switch and turning Obi into a head trauma victim was it for me… I think that’s what Disney wants… they want the old fan “gatekeepers” to leave. To be straight up… I’ll watch the show… but not in a way that puts my money in Disneys hands or in any way influences a positive metric online

Same about Obi Wan for me, that was when something broke in me regarding Star Wars, I was just done. I had hopes for Obi Wan after Mandalorian first 2 seasons and I like Ewan McGregor... And it was this atrocity, Obi Wan pretty much receiving the Luke Skywalker Last Jedi treatment, cringy genious little Leia knowing it all, nothing make sense... That show made me like really angry.. I watched i think 2-3 episodes, then the battle in the last one... It was horrible. I genuinely dont understand how poeple liked it, and it seems there are many poeple that did like it...

Disney rules: The lower the score, the more people HATE it, the greater the possibility a second season will get green lit out of spite. Don't hate. Don't get angry. Do something even worse for Disney, just don't care and become wholly apathetic. If you have a Disney+ subscription, cancel it and move on. Its not worth your time or money anymore. As Disney's Elsa perfectly summed it up: Let it go. Star Wars is dead. Just live with the memory of when it was good. By all means watch the shit show from the sidelines but don't give Disney a single penny of your hard earned money, you will just encourage them.

Don’t watch this even out of morbid curiosity. Don’t support these people in any way.

It's getting to the point that people on this side are being as illogical as the side they're complaining about. An actor can do a good job with a character even if they don't know every detail about the past lore. If they required the actors to take an extensive quiz on Star Wars lore in order to get the role 99 percent of good actors would be disqualified. Actors who know all of these details are a small minority.

The Acolyte is not the final nail in the coffin of the Star Wars IP, it is a railroad spike through the heart of the corpse of the Star Wars IP.

When I first heard that the High Republic was set a couple of centuries before the events of Star Wars, it was around the time that KK and her ilk were wearing The Force is Female t-shirts. I thought they will have some Sorceress or Goddess die and become the Force. I'm still not convinced I was wrong.

My favorite part of Star Wars is always the space battles. It's crazy that we haven't gotten any good ones in 8 years (Rogue One). On top of that, we never get the "Wars" part of Star Wars anymore. It's more just "Star Confict" or "Star (will be fixed and saved at the end of the season)"

While watching this video, I realized there is still love in my heart for everything A New Hope - Clone Wars. This modern Star wars is dead to me since The Last Jedi. You just have to believe that it doesn't exist. Rebels lies in purgatory.

They want a story, they want a good star wars story.... and they damn well don't want to be told to go away if they don't get it.

Just to make it clear, it has always been the case, that you don't need to be a Jedi to use the force. Both, Luke and Anakin used the force bevor they met Obi-Wan or Qui Gon. In RotJ Leia used the force to sense wether Luke is alive or not without training. Every living being has a connection to the force, the only question is, how strong it is. The Jedi only provide training and methodes to keep your emotions in check, so that you don't succumb to the dark side. But you also can train on your own.

I hate that they're constantly trying to subvert the Jedi. I mean, this is going to get kids to want to go to Star Wars events and wear robes and wave swords around?

That white girl from Beyond the Trailer said it's the best Star Wars show she's seen. She almost had me convinced to watch it.

My problem is that Disney knows a majority of the fan base hates the new star wars Disney is pushing. How much money Disney spends on damage control on these bad decisions. Why are they still putting out garbage. Disney has ruined every genre of movie/shows we grew up on.
