If SWT thinks that The Last Jedi is better than The Acolyte, then yes, he's actually wrong. That doesn't make him an idiot; it just means that he either harbors some biases or doesn't know how to critically analyze movies and shows. SWT is free to enjoy watching The Last Jedi more, but that doesn't change the fact that it is trash (technically speaking) when compared with The Acolyte. I had to stop watching SWT's reviews of The Acolyte after he repeatedly missed fundamental aspects of storytelling and writing, such as unreliable narrators, POV, and plot structures all because he was too caught up in the "lore" and "canon" while (ironically) missing the fact that The Acolyte is closer to original Star Wars lore (Legends) than most Star Wars shows.

The show itself was like “whatever” what made me upset was how they completely ignored George’s stories. They made Jedis look like a comedy crime gang, they changed Kati Mindi’s timeline, reduced the significance of Anakin with the twins being created by the Force, they made the Jedi aware of Sith activity long before the Phantom Menace, and now they implicated Yoda in the conspiracy on the last scene. It’s just beyond Disney’s comprehension to hire show runners and writers that know SW. It’s not hate, it’s calling them out on stupidity.😄
