Would you recommend these exercises for knee strength being for skiing? Both my knees have had injuries to them one dislocation years ago but one last Feb 2016 which took a long time before I could even bend done fully. I am going skiing mid Feb are there any other videos you would recommend in addition. To help strengthen my knees ? I love your videos. Happy New Year Layla

I never went through surgery. I have a partial tear from 5 months ago. Do you recommend the same exercises for someone healing naturally opposed to people who have gone through surgery? Or do you have different exercises for people who didn't have surgery? I am able to hop, not high right now, but hop, forward, back, side to side, do a very short soft jog, squats, stairs, swimming daily, side lunges, from lunges..and much more. I'd love to know, since I am a dancer, what you would recommend after 5 months to go to my next level? Do you have videos for this? Thank you!

I am 18 1/2 years post-op from ACL reconstruction, and I'm just doing a little research on what is available online right now for patients going through the same thing. There was nothing available for me so long ago and I'm glad to see what you're doing/showing for therapy online. This is great! However, I'm wondering why you're in slacks and ties? I'm sure this is what you work in, but seems a little funny to watch you guys go through the exercises dressed like this! Maybe you're trying to present yourselves as professionals? Might I suggest that you wear scrubs or slacks and polo shirts in your next video? I know, I know, I'm being overly critical, but I just can't stop laughing while watching you do the exercises dressed like you are! Keep up the good work in getting info out there for the poor souls who are anxious about their therapy and are searching for answers. It's truly an awesome video with great visual examples!

I love the stool scoots. I do those in the ocean. Meaning, I get into the shallow end and I dig my heal in and pull my body. Then I do it in reverse...I think it does the same thing as the rolly chair, which I don't have. But I have the ocean. Thanks

@@amo22602 I went through surgery 9 months ago...it is quite a journey. And the ability to keep re-injurying yourself while healing is high. So be careful. I was at 90% healed 6-8 weeks ago and one little thing went wrong and now I have been set back 3 months probably...do Physical Therapy but don't do too much. Good luck. And keep in mind the body wants to heal!

what about the posterior cruciate ligament ? they are cruciate only as a pair. crossing each other, so cruciate as in crucify . I respect you guys, but I dont want to use bands for anything to do with my knees. Its too risky their is a learning curve that I dont want to deal with. At least with weights I know im playing with fire and have to be careful, i dont have the same fear of elastic bands. actually i do now after giving myself a level one PCL sprain. healed nice with RICE.

But she recovered a bit in a year or so...she has very less control on her right leg and same goes with the left but left leg seems quite better than right. She uses a walker to walk. I'm just over 8 weeks as well now and it's still a bit swollen. I'm pretty sure this is normal though. The swelling will fluctuate so treat with ice (frozen peas are the best), especially after exercising. It never swells up too much, however, so if yours is really noticeable I'd maybe get it checked out.
