So the church has a car park, and you're visiting the church or it's grounds, but you cannot use the car park.. Then what is the car park for.. You should have asked her.. She works for the church > voluntary or is a local to the area who has been given a power trip ego. I think people would like to know what's the church called and then write to them or the church diocese to find out why people visiting cannot use the car park. Plus shame her as well.

It was a shame that the day started off with a total jobs worth that had no respect for you and your respect for your the respects you had in mind for mr bilk. Well done my friend. You certainly out shone the ignorance you endored . I think you tottally rose ubove the dark clouds that was thrust upon you , and thoroughly showed total respect to a man that was heard but seldom seen in a lot of our lives . Well done paul. He was a very special man, great musician.. he fought cancer a lot but it didn't take him out I'm happy to say.. His wife passed 5 years after Acker, I bet she wanted to be with him, childhood sweethearts together til the end and then for eternity. This was lovely Paul thank you so much..He was a top man for sure. It's weird cos depending where you live Acker meant friend. Paul, having worked in the funeral business for years, I really think that there was possibly a funeral service going to take place. The cones, where the funeral car signs were. The gate would be locked for mourners cars. The main giveaway is that is looked like there were 'Reserved' notices on the front pews, which is very normal in a church funeral service. That would explain her panic in closing the gate, but not her rudeness. She could have just said we are expecting funeral/mourners cars. As for the sign that the church was open - no-one will be turned away from a church (just the car park) regardless of the service. Just a strong possibility. Excellent video as usual. I even have a new clarinet waiting for me to learn it, inspired by Acker Bilk x

That’s so bizarre, I was listening to Scooter the other day and he samples Acker Bilk on the start of track, my mind flowed back to that video of a dog on the beach.

Acker Bilk, Brother Dave Bilk, was a neighbour of mine, in Bristol. Dave at on time was Ackers manager. Dave, told me Acker, and Dave, jokingly referred to Stranger on the shore, being Stranger on the floor. Anyway, both were brought up by their widowed Mother, in Pensford, near Bath. Unfortunately Dave, passed away a few years ago ( nearly 90 years of age ) anyway, peace to all !!

I was watching Talking Pictures last night Back in the mid to late 70’s there was a chat show hosted by Dick Hills and Sid Green via Southern TV called Tell Me Another One of their guests was Acker Bilk I suppose part of my childhood and a great musician- when there were many of his peers still alive Great video 👍 👍 ❤️❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
