My fond memories are from the Vision On programme. There was a spot on the programme each week where viewers would send in their drawings. He really inspired me and I used to draw and send in a picture every few weeks. Mine were never aired or selected. I was never any good anyway but I used to love drawing with the fact I was planning to send to Vision On. As a mature person I can imagine the numbers they probably received each week and a team would make the selections I'm sure. Morph was ground breaking and the rest as they say is history, loved it & thanks for sharing his earlier life details, it's one aspect that you so kindly provide and it's interesting. Thank you.

According to Wikipedia John Noakes ashes were scattered in Majorca where he was living, some were fired into space from a rocket.
