Paul O'Grady Tribute & Grave - Legendary TV presenter

Ойын-сауық

Today I pay tribute and visit the grave of TV star Paul O'Grady, the whole country felt the loss of this legendary Tv presenter and comedian.
Paul James O'Grady MBE DL (14 June 1955 - 28 March 2023) was an English comedian, broadcaster, drag queen, actor, and writer. He achieved notability in the London gay scene during the 1980s with his drag persona Lily Savage, through which he gained broader popularity in the 1990s. O'Grady subsequently dropped the character and in the 2000s became the presenter of various television and radio shows, including The Paul O'Grady Show.

Celebrities pass away all the time, but rarely do I feel the sense of personal loss like I did with Paul O’Grady. I share with him an absolute love of dogs, and I truly believe he is such a loss. What a talent, what a personality, what a sense of humour and wit and what a man. He will be hugely missed and for me, the world is a sadder place without him. Thank you for sharing this one Paul - another great film that celebrates a most super man xx

I couldn’t agree with you more.. I feel as if I’ve loss a relative. Paul had a special, natural connection with people from all walks of life, including the animals. He captured his audiences and was a natural with everyone. He was humble and real to himself & the people, which is why he was loved so much. People don’t come around like this very often…very rare to have this gift. He was one of a kind. “Thank you” Paul for all the joy you brought to our TV screen and the love you gave to the animals. You’ll be sorely missed. ❤❤❤

We met Paul in a Veterinary Surgery in Ashford Kent with one of his dogs and he sat amongst us General Public in the waiting room and chatted away as if he had known us for years. @@littlemissie7978 no, it was cats too. The centre's full name is "Battersea Dogs & Cats Home", and yes, Paul appeared with a few cats throughout the series. Obviously dogs were the focus but he shone the spotlight on the odd cat here and there, too.

I didn’t know Paul personally but like so many, i feel like I did. Very sad loss for all, there’ll never be another who did so much for the likes of Battersea, he truly loved the animals. God bless you Paul, reunited with Buster i’m sure. ❤️ Thank you for posting this video, I knew you would but didn’t think it would be so soon. Take care and thanks for all you do 🤗🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this video. Paul was an amazing man and completely down to earth. The person that you see on the tv is exactly how he was off screen. Funny, lovable, annoying but most of all a genuine gentleman and a gentle soul. Thank you once again. 💔

Hi Paul. Just caught up with this one. In my opinion it is a very difficult thing to do a feature on someone who has passed away so very recently but as always, you have nailed it. You have balanced biography and respect wonderfully, well done. Keep ‘em coming.

🇦🇺🍃🐨I was so heartbroken to hear of Paul’s passing. He did so much for so many and countless dogs owe him everything. He was the kindest soul and funny and witty and will be missed eternally. His funeral was amazing and fitting and where he is laid is beautiful. Thank you for laying flowers. It’s something I doubt I can ever do but would love to. RIP Paul. All the animals over the Rainbow Bridge are waiting to cover you in licks and loose hair!

I think he touched your heart without you realising how much till now he has gone. Cheerful with energy and a sharp wit, he made us laugh. Unique and sensitive to both animals and people, he was able to easily connect with both and empathise. People like Paul made the world a better place. I miss him already and am so glad you have shown us the lovely place where he has been laid to rest.

I was shocked and devastated on the death of our most funniest legends of all time Paul O Grady. The entertainment industry has lost an icon and heaven an Angel. I can imagine him with Cilla Black looking after all the animals and passing funny statements. Rest in peace Paul and a very big thank you for giving the public a sense of your humour which went down well with his audiences x

Thank you Paul. Dear Paul O'Grady's funeral is so recent the flowers on his grave still look fresh! Thanks for visiting his grave so soon. Really appreciate it. Favourite memory: There are lots, but I'll pick one. Paul's show on Radio 2 was sometimes filthy but he always played it straight. I remember him reading a message from a listener who said it was her wedding anniversary and every year her husband gave her a pearl necklace and she was looking forward to him coming home later that evening. R.I.P. Paul. What a loss to the world.

Such an amazing man razor sharp wit and humour he made so many people laugh, and what a tender heart, he was the kindest most tender man with animals that had been treated badly and neglected that they retreated into theirselves but he sat with them just talking and comforting them.
