Achieve The Full Splits - Follow Along Morning Stretching Routine

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This is the full morning routine that I used in order to achieve the full splits in only 7 days. Follow along and remember to only stretch to relaxation. Depending on current flexibility and other factors one may or may not achieve the full splits in only 7 days.

Got my middle split after 2-3 months of this! Definitely not one week and keep in mind I started from a very flexible point already (had my front splits, full lotus pose, a low butterfly stretch, and also almost at King Pigeon pose). The trick is really just consistency, also, a few tips: -For the first straddle, sit on the floor with socks on and push yourself against a wall (facing the wall) to spread your feet. If you haven't done this before, you'll be surprised at how wide your straddle can actually get when something holds it in place (the wall). -For the 1min hold straddle, try to go lower than he does and eventually try to get to a pancake stretch. Pancake stretches are really good for middle split flexibility and after adding them to this routine, I got the middle split in 3 days. Don't hurt yourself and good luck!

Awesome!!! I’ve been trying to achieve the splits for like 3 months, but I still can’t make it. I hope this routine can help XD. Please put the afternoon video on this channel hahaha. Thank you very much!! Edit: Hi!! It's been 4 months and I made a great progress. I still cannot make a side split, (but I have to admit I didn't made the afternoon routine), nevertheless, I can do an almost perfect front split. I definitely see results, but there's still more work to do! Hope this helps and motivate :) Edit 2: Hello!! Welp, I have to say that I stopped doing this regularly but I have been doing exercises weekly (but more focused on the front split) and now I have completely achieved it! In my opinion, it's much easier to learn the front split than the side split. I still want to learn the side split (and I think I'm very close actually). Another advice that at least it worked with me, it's that I'm more flexible at the afternoon, after working out. That might help :) It's all constance and effort, you can do it!!!!

Hey dude usually when I do the quadricep stretch I usually just go back to my elbows and I have been inching my elbows to my feet gradually but definitely not touching. I surprised the hell out of myself when I did a full quadricep stretch all the way to my back, I totally did not expect that at all. So I thought well geez I'm down here anyways just go ahead and hold it for 30 seconds. It really burned, yes, but it was not painful. I usually go by the 1-10 scale of pain where 7 is a feel good hurt and 8 is an ow that hurts and this was definitely a 7! The straddle hold I can't do right away though, I have to open my hips up more with other stretches before I attempt the straddle otherwise I feel Charlie horses in my left leg and cramps in my foot.

I'm on day 5 after not taking my training seriously for almost a year (thanks covid). I'm definitely not going to be hitting the splits by Sunday but my overall hip mobility and stretching ability is massively improved! I reckon I could hit splits in maybe 4-6 weeks doing this routine (including the afternoon/after workout stretch as well). I'll add an update in a few weeks and let folks know. My dojo opens back up in April and I'm going to be ready.

@@razooxn2827 I'm still not down to full splits. I don't think I'll be hitting full side splits any time soon, I seem to have plateaued at about 7-8 inches off the ground with that. I'm about 6 or so inches off the ground on me front split on my good side though. What has been improved is my general mobility. After spending a lot of time sedentary lately it's really feeling good for a lot of my kicks. I'm consistently kicking head height with barely any pull on my roundhouses and sides. I haven't done any stretching at all for the past week and a half (mainly down to me not feeling up to it after a heavy workload) and I've not suddenly lost any flexibility I've gained. It definitely is helping following the routine. What I will add though is that it shouldn't just be done on its own. As a former long distance runner I suffer from seriously tight calf muscles which has an impact on my general leg flexibility. I made sure to add plenty of stretching and rolling to my calves as well as doing a full body stretch routine that focused a lot on my lower back. These kinds of intense stretches around the groin and hips put a lot of pressure on my lower back so I made sure I wasn't neglecting anything. I recommend checking out Sean Vigue on youtube. He's got a great yoga vid you can follow which is a great workout. Couple this focused stercthing with that routine and you're on to a winner.

This video is perfect for following along, but can you change your ad settings so that they either happen only before and after the video, or if you are going to have them during, can you set the timing to a better spot? I was in the middle of the stretch on the wall when an ad went off lol

It's a tough stretch, you could try the standing single leg quad stretch, same results, less pain 🙂

First day me, 😖 *legs shaking* I could do front splits for both legs easily, but I could never do side splits. So I made a goal to do full side splits. Wish me luck.

I find this stretching routine very beneficial in my daily lifestyle. Likewise, I just wonder why it is still doesn’t allow me to perform the full splits.
