So apparently follow these steps accordingly one should work (the first 5 were suggested by Acer customer service 1. Unplug your charger Press the power button for 15 seconds (Battery Reset) 2. Plug in the charger and check for changes. 3. If none check if your windows is up-to-date acer.co/3AVtcQW. 4. If nothing changes try updating drivers acer.co/3VF4lch 5. If none of these works then you will have to meet a local repair center preferably an Acer one, otherwise just meet a local professional as I did. 6. Suggest a charger check-up or change first to see if anything changes. 7. One of the capacitors in my charger was dislocated from a fall so it just needed to be soldered back. And boom my charger was back to normal.

Option 4 was AWESOME, and so are you!!!!!! Holding the power button down just saved me two days of downtime while I bought another computer and had all my business software reloaded. Thank you!

I have a nitro AN515-57 brand new, and some days after installing a ssd suddenly the battery stop charging. Now it’s only 3% left. I already did all steps of this video and non of those fixed the issue. Help ;-;

Wow sorry about that. Maybe you just have to go to the nearest repair to get it checked. Else check if you returned everything back to normal when replacing the ssd

If your problem is you can only play FIFA for 2 hours when not plugged in, then that is good, and that is not a problem. So make sure you play games while being plugged. Your fans spin very fast when playing games, so you need to keep it plugged and don't keep it on a bed, only flat surfaces like tables or elevated surfaces like a stand.

So I realized that my charger only clicks once when entering, not twice... Does that mean the charger or the charging port is the issue?

I have this problem After trying all the update / install drivers and software updates ( NOTHING WORKED) I called Acer support , a technician came to my house and he told me that the charger pin inside laptop is the issue , he said it is for free cuz my laptop has warranty
