I have a 2018 Lenovo T470s with Windows 10 installed. I recently replaced the front battery (or battery 1) and kept getting the "plugged in, not charging" message after using my laptop unplugged for a period of time. Method 2 solved my issue. I knew to have the drivers updated, never occured to me to get rid of them completely then get them reinstalled like that. 30 seconds of clicking solved a couple of weeks of headache. Thank you!

Bro i am pressing F10 but nothing is opening

If uninstalling those 2 things are not working...disable them and unplug your charger....leave the laptop on for about 5-10 mins....then plug your charger and enable them again. I hope this works for you guys cus it worked for me first try.

I solved mine when i restart the windows explorer using task manager. -Toshiba Portege R830 i5 -8GB DDR3 ram -Patriot 256 SSD -Win 10 Pro

Tysm! Number 6 worked for me, at first after I restarted it didn’t work so was about to move on to number 7 but then I saw it charging! Thank you so much again! (Gonna save this video to watch later again 😅)

Thank You, been watching many vids and trying most of the "tips" on it not charging to 100%. I was about to drain, reopen the laptop and remove the battery. I used the restart windows explorer tip and now I got the green light on the laptop. it went from 94% to 96%.

One solution for this is, you have to unplug your adapter and click on the battery icon in the taskbar and drag it to "BEST PERFORMANCE,BETTER BATERRY OR BATTERY SAVER. BETTER PERFORMANCE CONSUME TOO MUCH ENERGY. Which is why the charging time takes too long.

I tried all the method but my laptop stop charging after 60%... then I plugged out and plugged in charger after that it charge my laptop for 1 min and then stop charging after that I do the same thing but it was too much irritating...Pls give me final solution From 0 to 60 % charge it work fine but after that for more charging i have to plugged in and out my charger continually... My laptop is hp gaming laptop which I bought year back

The second method worked! 🎉 It stopped charging after the system update, checked the battery drivers but no new updates, so probably it has something to do with the battery drivers.

I ask because on my laptop got written that Dell support assist has detected a falling Component on your system that request immediate attention and the battery is reaching end usable life.. I tried all and none of this worked 😭 My dad took my laptop's charger to the shop and it turned out that the cord of the charger (the one with fuse) had burned internally. The technician sold us a new cord and now my laptop is charging again.
