    I can't imagine anyone watching these types of families and thinking they're always like that. It's all just for the cameras. Using children as 'actors' is disgraceful.

  • @Adara007

    @Adara007

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@JustDr.S The way these people use their own children is quite sickening and ideally legislation would come into effect similar to that with child actors. Even then, however, it's likely they'd still be exploited because the parents seem to have pathologically high levels of narcissism.

  • @JustDr.S

    @JustDr.S

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@Adara007 I agree. The children are being exploited. Any legislation dealing with the internet is often met with disdain. Freedom of speech. Surely, the children aren't consenting to this. Something should be done about that. I don't see how YT allows it. They frequently ban users and channels for political or vulgar statements. They should be more concerned with these so called 'perfect families' using their children as props.

    To some outsiders my life might seem boring...it's just my daughter and myself who live in a small house, we don't have much money but we love each other dearly, we enjoy our privacy and take great pleasure in the simple things in life, like today it was a lovely sunny warm day and we sat out in our garden and enjoyed all the work we put into making it pretty.......but you know what !!!........we are truly happy and content, and we don't have to pretend to be that way for an audience, and we probably represent a lot of people in how we live our lives.

    I have relatives and friends that aren’t vloggers, but constantly post their babies and kids on social media (some of them not even blurring personal info or locations). I understand being proud of your kids, and putting a couple of photos can be OK, but these people out EVERYTHING on internet. If I grow up, and I see my mom posted more that she should (things that should be private, or photos that I don’t think they are flattering) or just my personal history day by day, I’d be upset. Parents forget that their kids are a person apart from them. That they are kids so they don’t get the complexity of the internet, and one day, their immature classmates can find those photos…and being bullied. And worst: parents upload photos of their children, and without knowing it, can be stolen by pedos for their benefit… which is disgusting.

    Just a reminder, I’m totally diagnosing myself and speculating on what could be happening in my life… So yeah, I’m going through a rather painful break up with a person with a lot of narcissistic tendencies. That is what drew me to your channel (and others like yours). Me searching for answers, guidance, understanding of my relationship or what I thought was a relationship. I don’t know. Today was a particularly hard day, I guess it’s grief, grief for so many things. I was so tempted to reach out to this person, just to hear his voice. Instead, I came onto KZread and saw I had missed a notification of a new video, your new video. I was actually wondering if you had posted today. Thank you for this delightful and entertaining gem. 😂 You have no idea how much this helped, lifted my mood and let me think of something else. Thank you. I initially came to this channel to better understand myself, my last relationship and stayed for your wonderful analysis of true crime and pop culture. You are truly a blessing Dr. Grande. Thank you!
