ace combat 4,5,0 is that kind of games that leaves you endlessly waiting till the end of the credit hoping to see some extra goodbye cutscene which never comes :(

That's one reason why they're referred to as the holy trinity. Not just of ace combat games, but ps2 games in general

Good times to remember with this video... This is the best Ace Combat for me, the soundtrack, the characters, the history, everything is perfect!

1:56 To me, I think when Cipher returned to base, he decided not to land and keep on flying. Probably went somewhere far away. That or he decided to hang his wings and never returned Air Force again. His disappearance could go either way, the grief from shooting down Pixy was too much for him. Pixy was like a brother to him, and it really is hard losing a very close friend.

@@potat3746 I remember this video too. It’s more of the transition between shots. Like when the aircraft passes then we see an empty runway. Giving us the illusion that Cipher disappeared like a ghost.

Man, the guitar work in this game always puts a lump in my throat. There's an emotional weight in flamenco guitar that corresponds perfectly to the games' themes. When I listen to this OST there's always something that pops out that I hadn't heard before.. for instance the guitar lick at 0:11.. beautiful and unexpected and I hadn't paid attention to it before. Brilliant music that still remains fresh today.

btw, the music of the credits is beautiful

Believe it or not, Pixy is actually fighting in Usea, which is the backdrop for AC4. Which actually made my theory of Cipher being Mobius 1 somewhat legit.

Actually is fact of pixy fighting in USEA, one cool detail its the ISAF flag

The only Ace Combat I ever played that surpassed Ace Combat 4. Each playthrough almost feels like a totally different game, and it's fun hunting down all the aces

Well, actually, Pixy is in Delarus, a small country in the Usean continent, that joined to the I.S.A.F. forces during the Usean Continental War, to provide support, and well, as result, obviously, the I.S.A.F. flag was waving in there after taht, like at minute 0:50 mentioned by "Spartanz1170".

This storyline, in my opinion, matched Ace Combat 5's. It was spectacular. There were some things I didn't like in this game (that weird circle with L3 ticked me off like hell) and some things in AC5 (takes too long to unlock Ace mode) but both games were the absolute greatest games in the entire Ace Combat franchise. A round of applause for Namco!!

i think it might be that the pilots cypher faces were just that: true pilots. However, cypher wasn't a pilot. it was almost as if he was a bird, he flew on his own and didn't depend on a piece of machine to control the skies. His level of comfort in the skies could not be matched by his opponents, no matter how good of a pilot he or she was. -Shadow Out

Really loved the picture of pigeon visited every Aces you fought before just by standing on their helmets

This game, in my opinion, is the fucking best game EVER! The story, the characters, THE GAME! Awesome, simply awesome...

both the ending songs for ace combat 5 and Zero are songs i hold dearly. it reminds me to a time where life was simpler and you could enjoy things. after my ongoing fight with my depression i come back to listen to them once more wondering what is it that keeps me remembering them and the stories were too good and we dont get anything like that nowdays. well done namco, you made a generation appreciate video games and actually be invested in those stories. my hats off to the developers

but you have to remember: he changed when he saw the barren landscape, i would be pissed too, but the pixy he fought wasnt the "real" pixy.

you know what whould be cool? If pixy here was fighting in the Estovakian civil war that they mention in ace combat 6. That would be quite a thing to be hold.

Thank you so much for uploading these. The copy of Ace Combat Zero that I got happened to be one that crashes on the final cutscenes, so the only way I could get to save at the end of the game was to skip all of them. This is the first time I got to see these. :)

I love this game so much. You really can't be a story line that can have an ending like this. It leaves you wanting so much more!

Every other ace is part of a “Tactical Fighter Squadron”, so i thought “Air Division” was unusual

assault horizon was ok but i hope they bring the next Ace Combat back to Strangereal. maybe the story can take place in the estovakian civil war or they can make a new event in strangreal or something.

Actually, quite untrue. One of the aces you shoot down in AC6 is actually a defector from Belka, and Yellow Jacket came from Osea after the Ulysses collision.

@elwatusi92 No ace combat 6 you are in the same world as 5 and zero. And i know that because one of the named aces, the one you shot down when you shoot down the 5 giant airships named agiaon i think? But if you shoot down the named ace in that mission and then you go the mission records and look up his profile it says he is from belka and fled either after ace combat zero or 5. And he helped the Estovakian with their missile technology according to the profile in the game.

@Jamicaman516 the problem with your theory is that AC 6 and AC Zero are set in seperate universe's. They're not the same world, they're different world's. only AC 5 and AC Zero are set in the same world.
