Beat mine last night. When heard her I had the look of surprise hearing Nagase. That doesnt come as a suprise that she is doing work in space now.

I LOST MY SHIT HEARING NAGASE AGAIN. Nostalgia hit me so hard it made me cry. This story was amazing. Definitely top 3 for me. Loved it.

she should've said that " the ghost of Razgriz would be proud of them " at the end.

If only she mentioned blaze lol. Knowing Blaze he probably stayed on the air force training rookie pilots like pops was. And Grim is probably with him too. Swordman is a colonel in the Navy.

What if Blaze is with Nagase? Astronauts need more than 1 pilot At least that's what I read from Space Brothers

I was filled with so much nostalgia when I noticed it was Nagase talking. Namco really outdid themselves with this game. AC5 is still my favorite, but I personally think this one is better than AC6. I especially like the references to both 5 and 4. The one thing I was hoping for during my play through was for the Mobius squadron to show up at the last two missions. I was hoping for Razgris to show up too but it now makes sense why they didn't.

Mobius squadron would make sense, given it was created at the end of AC4. At the end of AC5, it was specifically stated that "the aces of Razgriz never flew in the skies of battle again". I prefer that it remain that way

TheVampire .K_N_D.16 unfortunately ace combat 3 wasn’t released in the U.S. but the rest of the world enjoyed it and it was awesome!!

Glad to see the Sand Island Squadron still flying strong 💯💞

forreal tho, I jumped out of my seat and screamed "OH SHIT!" and "OH MY GOD" at this reveal. What a truly good reward for beating this game, and they couldn't have picked a better character for this, since she kept her hope for humanity and peace, and loved the Arkbird so much and what it had been built for. So it is good to see her having pursued her endeavors. Ugh SO GOOD, I cried.

I honestly got goosebumps hearing her voice, it’s been so long since I’ve heard that name. Especially all the references from AC04, Zero and 5. Knowing that this was the ending mission brought a tear to my eye knowing it’ll be awhile before a great Ace Combat game comes out again.

Ace combat 8: The last frontier Instead of jets we use combat spacecrafts and lazers in a war between mars colonies and earth, that would be amazing.

I think AC8 will lay the groundwork for the Intercorporate War, then AC9 will basically be a remake of AC3. We might also get a prequel of some sort or even a game that focuses on a country that hasn’t been explored yet

Something I just realized about this moment and this lore bit after playing through the RIDGE RACER series. Kei returning from the space mission here is actually more impactful upon the realization that her older sister, Reiko Nagase the mascot of Ridge Racer, always wanted to be a cosmonaut. It’s never clear if Reiko even exists in Ace Combat beyond the devs saying Kei’s her younger sister, but she’s now living reiko’s dream.

This ending reminds me of star fox 64s ending lol

How did she survive that! Anyways, great ending. Loving this world that Namco built and keeps bringing us back to.

This reminds me of Starfox on SNES when you go into the ships.

Blaze would be too young to be a grandad, ace combat 5 was in 2010 while 7 was in 2019. But it could be pops.

Namco really named two characters "Kei Nagase", I'm sitting here thinking this is Edge from AC2

I wasn't expecting to find out what happened to my favourite member of the Ghosts of Razgriz. But knowing she's going further than Blaze did? I'm proud of my Nagase. You go, Pilgrim 1.

This was the best ending ever!

After wardog squadron was shot down and "killed" that froze her rank along with everyone else other then snow. They were the President's private air Force, so no rank.

Assuming space ships follow the Naval ranking system, although her title is still Captain, she's a higher ranking Captain than she was in the air force. So that would be the equivalent of a Colonel.

I guess Nagase just went up to ranks in this Space division. I mean maybe she had contact with people doing a space project after the events of AC5 and got a new job after her retirement with Razgriz.

Fuck all those "professional" game critics that say this game story was shit this one is up their with 4 5 and zero. The only problem I have with it is that it isn't longer.

@@tombombadilofficial All characters and AC3 universe are canon in Strangereal universe, but the events and 5 endings are a simulation.

So she and Blaze were just chilling in space this whole time?

AC5 has the best story line.

So does this mean AC is going to space?

This makes me cringe watching people play on these EZ mode controls.
