Verenice Hernandez-Herrera, a former school counselor with over 20 years of experience, founded WishWell in Chula Vista to address the lack of kid-friendly therapy centers. Recognizing the challenge of traditional therapy settings for kids, she aimed to create a space where children and teens could feel connected, heard, and empowered to learn and grow.
She came to Accessity in September of last year to get funding to start her business and hire licensed therapists and empowerment coaches.
