Anti college is already a thing in some early 2000 movies tho a lot of them mention college as a scam, but now during this pandemic it is feel like a scam, i mean we got some friend and network before, but now you basically get nothing lol

0:18 It was a simple statement, comically delivered. But it was meaningful, touching and only goes to show how a person's life can change simply because someone accepted them for who they are and what they've done to date.

Bartleby does a wonderful job of helping out students who have been rejected from other colleges in the area

What I liked about Accepted is telling the truth, high class establishment rejecting those just because they're different or because they failed at one lousy answer.

“I didn’t get into a real college...err a really really good college.”

Y'know, they said Penguin was eccentric as a little kid. They never said he was THAT eccentric.

back then when was young and watching it didn't get the whole meaning, but now graduated and working in a college myself i can see how much sense this movie makes.

When I got accepted here, it was the first time my parents ever said that they were proud of me! HAHAHA fucking win

This was the moment this movie went from great to legendary, it really connects with anyone watching this because most of us went through the anxiety of being accepted to a college

If only ALL Freshman Orientations were like this!

I can't get over it. There are ZERO cords coming out of that sound mixer. You're making a goddamned movie! You have a sound crew for making a movie, goddammit! No one noticed that?!? (In the interest of full disclosure, the only reason I noticed this is because Maria Thayer is one the best things about watching this movie, something is wrong with our country when Blake Lively is the main romantic lead instead of Thayer, and only noticed that sound board's lack of wires because she was behind it.)

The question this movie never answered was: _is it even worth it to begin with?_ . It made the idea of college seem like a venue for young adults to be accepted at and thousands of likely borrowed dollars but no real pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
