Accept You Now Have a Son or Your Daughter Will Kill Herself - Jude

Ойын-сауық

Jude is a parent from Australia who shares their family's tough journey during our ROGD Webinar in 2022 after their daughter said she was transgender out of the blue. Jude talks about the shock, confusion, and hard times the family went through dealing with mental health issues, pressure from society, and problems with the medical system.

I didnt kill myself. Because adults ignored me and my beliefs. I was given the address of who to contact and i was cross as i thought that they would help to get me turned into a man. That tgey would come to my aid. But the one think that made me so angry and disappointed as a school aged teen, is one thing i am so grateful for now. It is the way that these children are being exploited that is causing them distress. They are being told that their feelings are permanent and are offered only one way out of their confusion and feelings of being different. A final solution. Despite my knowing exactly what i wanted and not being able to be talked out of it as I was certain i would never change, never want children, i did in fact eventually change. And i have 2 children Be aware that a girl with autism will feel a wild range of craziness as they are full of fears, confusion and hate. And they have a boldness and determination to do it their way.

Cults try to separate their victims from the people who actually care about them and can try to make them see reason. And that's exactly what trans activists, and now the medical profession and schools do. They try to separate the child from their parents, the people who actually care about the child. The school, the trans-activists, and the medical "professionals" only care about the child as a thing, as a recruit.....they don't actually care. It's sickening that large segments of society are falling for this and supporting this.

What a persevering Mom. 😭 Alienation and isolation is a symptom of addiction. Is gender dysphoria considered an addiction? There are so many possible addictions. Drs don’t know much about addictions, hence many are addicted to different things themselves. Twelve steps can be helpful with addictions, but typically the individual needs to seek the help not, others for them. It’s considered a spiritual programme, but not religious. I’m in Canada, but you sound further along than me in dealing with all these issues, so thanks for speaking out. Jordan Peterson advised not to call surgery ‘top’ & ‘bottom’ surgery. Use the actual names they are called by. What do you think of that? I’m horrified by, and it is very personal to me all that is going on. Not to be flip, but I just learned that trans is an ancient concept. See: Ishtar.

Sad for her, and angry at the people doing this. This is all driven by activists- this is NOT about money. Anyone profiting is doing so incidentally, just by being opportunists taking advantage of something that fell in their lap. You can tell by how countries with socialized medicine or National healthcare services don’t “profit” from any of this. It costs them money, and takes finite resources away from patients who have real physical health problems. This is a mental health issue if anything- being promoted by far left activists who want to destabilize society by screwing up kids and anyone else they can. They are engaging in a Maoist cultural revolution with western characteristics. I’m afraid it’s going to take drastic, direct action against the people performing these procedures, and those promoting them. Otherwise it’s GAME OVER.

I hate that they have co-opted the term 'chosen family'. I was left with PTSD and other medical disabilities from my family and had to cut them out for the sake of my physical welfare and sanity. I now have chosen family and the relationships are healthy and I am loved just for being me. Not happy Jan!😡

Before listening to this, I have been thinking that mental illness leads to being susceptible to trans ideology (or exaggerated intersectional ideology). Now I am wondering if exposure to strange ideas creates or at least triggers mental illness.

You have a point. I have noticed many seem to be mentally ill but not actually have gender dysphoria. Perhaps acceptance of the ideology comes easily to someone with a mental illness because they think it gives them answers. Perhaps the outward manifestation of transition is when others are able to see the illness in a way that is very obvious. Not everyone manifests easily recognised symptoms to the average person when they are mentally ill or struggling.

@@M_Candour I believe you are right. However, the daughter in this clip seems to have become much worse after entering into the trans universe. Perhaps it becomes a destructive spiral. The daughter of an acquaintance is autistic. Very obviously so - not just a bit square. In her upper teens, she suddenly "was trans", and risked being hurried along the path to transition. Luckily, her mother managed to convince the health system that it was just a silly idea. It is obvious that she looked for something that could explain why felt different (the reason, of course, being that she is autistic) - just anything that could be helped. It reminds me of a former (actually a great relief!) friend, who suffers from schizophrenia. In her youth, she convinced her best friend that the friend was the reason for her malaise, she has through the decades insisted that what she suffers from is depression, bipolar disorder, and (recently) bad connection to her father (my failure to understand this simply from her demeanor was her reason for ending the friendship) - anything that can be managed and carries less of a stigma. Very human. Not very helpful.

@@mademoiselledusfonctionell1609 That's what it looks like from my pov, there were already issues and the whole trans thing wasn't compatible with the real her so things got a whole lot worse. The actual stats for 'unaliving' actually go up after surgical transition so it also explains why transitioning is the answer for only a few - the few with actual gender dysmorphia.

@@M_Candour There is a play and a film called Ångrarna, The Regretters, about two men (whose stories are real - they even played themselves in the film) who in 1967 and 1994 were "transitioned" to women but later (the play premiered in late noughties) regretted the operations. Imagine how hard it was to have a sex change operation in 1967. They underwent serious investigations before being allowed this kind of surgery. And even people from back then regret it. I am not saying it is bad for everyone. But I would like to reserve my judgement until I have seen many studies of long term outcome in mental and physical health.

You're right about our society, but young children deeply believe what their parents tell them. If you have a boy, tell him "You are my little boy, and you're going to grow up to be a big, strong man like your daddy! It's wonderful that you're a boy, and I'm going to so proud of you when you grow up to be a good man like your daddy is! You're lovable and I'll always love you!" If you have a girl, give her a similar positive, loving message about being a girl and growing up to be a woman. Homeschool your children if you possibly can. Know their friends and their parents well. Keep your children off the internet unless you are sitting beside them and supervising what they see, hear, and read. Teach them to think critically about everything online. Don't let them have phones that access the internet before age 18; give them plain flip-phones. Keep them busy as teens with study, sports, arts lessons, and part-time jobs. If they want to hang out friends, make your house the place where the teens like to hang out, so you can hear what they're talking about. Warn your almost-teens that puberty is full of changes and mood swings and is often confusing and uncomfortable, but they can always come to you to talk and get things sorted out. Tell them that sometimes whole societies get things wrong and right now lots of people think crazy things about people being born in the wrong (boy or girl) kind of body. (Hopefully society will go sane about this again before your kids reach puberty!) Make sure your kids have other adults to talk to who agree with all these things you are teaching them. I hope these suggestions will be helpful to you. They are based on my hard-won knowledge of what's needed to keep kids out of trouble.

Having a sibling as crazy-stressful as this girl could indeed make a young teen boy anorexic. It's extremely difficult for parents to completely protect their other children when one is this crazy. Undiagnosed metabolic issues cause a great deal of mental illness - read William Walsh's work in this field - but people aren't properly diagnosed and treated so the whole family suffers.
