Love that idea of mixing a soccer ball with the kick that is audio engineering genius at its finest! Watching your podcast Dave & Herb, has really brought my level of expertise from amateurish thinking i was pro too professionally taught ready to bring my career to the next plateau. Took a ton of notes and am continuing to watch and learn. Wondering if I could send you any samples Dave, I just recorded 4 demo songs for my debut album that I am totally optimistic that has the potential to be one of the greatest new school albums of all time - mixing pop, rock, & hip pop primarily with roots in all genres really as a genuine lover of most - upbeat / positive vibe music!

Great program. I wish the hosts would refrain from all the commentary while the guest is trying to speak. Just let the guest speak without interruption. The interruptions -- all the "ohs" and "ahhs," make it difficult to watch at home.

This is one of the best!! Im teaching Film sound at the University of Dar es Salaam Tanzania. Im using books like: Sound design. The Expressive power of music, voice and sound effects in cinemas by David Sonnenschein and The Sound Effect Bible by Ric Viers. They are great books a sound designer for film should read. Thank you!!!

Is the ITL at Dave's new studio? I recognize a lot of the same gear so I'm guessing it it. If so I wonder how he's digging the Amphion Two 18's. It also looks like he might have the BaseOne25's as well. I'd also love to hear what he thinks about the new Maag EQ4M. He spends so much time asking other people about gear it'd be nice to have him do a studio tour - maybe have Warren Huart come do it.
