I almost died with the brushing scene from that intro.... I´m waiting for Dynamic Speed Potion Wax to arrive to give it a go but I got a discount on GraphenWax so checked this video! ...I´ll spend it on Castelli socks though! Thanks for the video and ride safe!

Interesting accent fpr an english speaking german - is it for sure better then a paraffin + pfte powder combination?

I bought some of this and tried it on the weekend. I should have watched your video first, as other videos say you should pull the chain out of the wax just as it is starting to harden. This simply leaves a bunch of hard wax on the chain and makes an absolute mess with wax flicking off everywhere (on my indoor trainer - even after 80ks). I will take the chain off, clean up the mess on the rear derailleur, resubmerge the chain again, pull it out early, and wipe off the excess. First time fail.

Have used this wax in mountain biking and Im not pleased. Washes off really easily in wet conditions or when washing bike. It good for 30km max

This was my experience of it too using it on the road. Absolutely useless stuff. I’ve moved onto MSW and it’s night and day the difference. The AB pretty much trashed my chain quicker than I’d expect.

@@neilbuckley5796 - was it just surface rust on the links though or did it get noisier for instance?

@@paulbusby2013 Both, I use it on my commuter bike too, I don’t thrash my bikes, but the slightest bit of rain the chain would rust, it would be squeaking after not many miles at all, despite cleaning correctly and also putting the wax on and the wear rates on my chain was horrendous. MSW when you wax makes the chain initially stiffer to break which just tells me it’s actually in the chain and I get some seriously good mileage out my chains with zero rust. Also I’ve seen some awful examples of AB just being outright bullies, trolling people and being rude which further puts me off using their products. It also took them months to deliver after initially ordering. Avoid like the plague.

@@neilbuckley5796 - too late - mine was delivered within 36hrs of ordering. Oz cycling preferred making their own with PTFE powder over MSW's in their tests.

Need to use slow cooker, not rice cooker. Rice cooker reaches too high temp too fast it can ruin the wax.

A rice cooker is NOT a great idea, especially with such expensive wax. Use a small slow cooker instead - as per their training vid!!

By far the worst molten wax product on the market. I can only get 200km per application on my indoor bike and less than 150km outdoors in prefect, dry conditions - not even half the advertised range. I've been using home brew wax based on Oz Cycle for years and it has been great. But I made the mistake of thinking a 'professional' product would be even better - it is not. Don't take my word for it - look up Zero Friction Cycling's test results, GraphenWax is shockingly bad. High chain wear and a filthy product.

Yeah, unfortunately it is very bad. Since that review I'm using Silca Hot Melt Wax - probably the best product (not tried MSW updated version tho), I run for about 600-700 km on one application, and do rewax after that just in case))
