Yeah I'm also very surprised about grimmchild, I understand using a minion charm as spells are not worth it and the nail damage amplifiers are already in use but is Grimmchild really the highest damage minion?!?

@@manueldoll8578 I've done some research and here's what I found. Glowing Womb summons a minion every 4 seconds that deals 9 contact damage, and with Fury of The Fallen activated, it deals 14 damage. Max level Grimmchild deals 11 damage, and the shooting rate isn't mentioned in the Wiki, but it's around one or two seconds. No need to search for the Weaversong because the fight is in air and they won't work, but I searched because I'm a nerd. Each of the 3 spiders deals 3 damage. So yeah, Grimmchild is the best. I think this isn't fair at all for the rest, it's basically 2 charm notches for either a charm that deals high damage in short periods of time, one that deals less damage that could get increased using more charms AND consumes SOUL, or one that also deals less damage but could get you SOUL for an extra charm notch. Maybe Glowing Womb would be better if you had 4 Fury minions at the start, but that would require going through the entirety of P5, then defeating Pure Vessel with enough SOUL to summon four hatchlings, while on one mask.

@@mkks4559 ok thanks for the research , only one minor correction on the very last phrase, entering absrad in p5 heals you, therefore finishing PV with 1 hp doesn't work and you have to tank down to fury just as done in the hall of gods here

Spoonsei just has an inner built-in hack called “insane skillz”. You make it look like Radiance has a third of her actual hp, this is nuts! Congrats

Each of spoonsei slash does a greatslash level of damage no wonder it's fast (fury + strength)

It looks like they didn't use a longer nail or use any spells, probably better to hear from someone else but probably strength, fury, grimmchild, and other charms to get overcharmed. Maybe other charms that do damage aren't really significant enough

But stalwart is interesting. So you didn't really waste any charm slots, but it helps with that one attack you have to take, I guess I've learned something (Ramble not important) I was literally thinking of how they used steady body and didn't think of(type) it. And quickslash duh

The damage grimm brings to phases 1-3 is more important than the damage glowing womb brings to platform phase surprisingly

Dammit spoonsei leave some world records for the others. Also whats the charm build? Fury/steady body/strength/grimchild is 8 notches, so theres room for one more 2 notch before overcharming with quicklash. I think a previous record used stalwart shell but I dont really see that helping, why not glowing womb since you aren't using soul and its buffed by fury?

I used stalwart here ^^ Grimmchild barely saves me one hit, and womb isn’t enough to save 2 easily on the first 3 phases. Stalwart helps the start be a lot more consistent

how do you pogo while not losing having to wait a bit after the 2nd pogo is it a pc thing and if so is it doable on the switch?

I posted this before watching, I figured the start cutscene was left out but still seemed too much off time with climb and plat transition. And honestly it's mindblowing how fast you go through these phases. Absrad got like one attack out in the plat phase lol. Super clean transition to the climb phase and you went so fast you made that phase look so much smaller here than it really is. Congrats on the WR!

Glowing womb helps the most for platform phase, but you don't really need extra damage there. For phases 1-3 the extra hit it saves you more time since you're less likely to burn through all of the phases within one attack without it.

Basically since you get to use wings again after pogoing (downward slashing) an enemy; I’m using wings, hitting on the way up, and then pogoing to get wings back, then I repeat. The exact pattern changes depending on how high I want to go, but that’s the basic idea
