I believe settlers are "invisible" to scouts. They will capture a settler if the settler happens to be on a tile the scout wants to go to, but unless the scout has had its encampment destroyed, it does not prioritize the settler. They're essentially set to "auto explore" and sometimes you just happen to be standing on the worst spot.

honestly they should change the ability to the default no dlc version with amenities because that would give an impact also a reason to maybe not make plantations and still keep the minus loyalty so industrial zones give 1 amenity and plantations reduce 1 amenity and 2 loyalty

Ceasar can be really good with barbarian clans mode imo. You can raid a barbarian clan every 10 turn tho which makes a lot of gold.

Aswell sea trade routes give 30% extra gold when between cities on the same body of water (Placeholder) Trade routes that go primarily through coasts give +25% yields (Venetian galley, placeholder) A unit unique to Venice unlocked by guilds and gets +2 movement on the coast

eh sometimes they just don't build walls - tbf himself and me and his neighbors had all been friends for like 100 turns so i'm sure that has something to do with the AI

It IS. It almost got cut for charity but saving the hair ended up winning in the end haha

so I haven't watched the whole thing so I don't know exactly what the exploit is, so I am just gonna throw my guess here from somebody who doesn't know this game very well. So there is that alert where you get the ability to decommission your power plant in like the modern/atomic era. Since you get a free unit every time a building is constructed in an industrial zone with Abe, and "decommissioning" your power plants is basically just destroying the building, I don't think there is anything saying you can't just constantly build and decommission Coal Power Plants for the entire event and print an infinite amount of infantry.
