ABR Festival 2024, Has Technology Ruined Adventure Travel? Old V's New

These videos are raw with minimal editing and occasionally I have to contend with people walking in front of my camera, because that's what some folk do! In this video we have Austin Vince, Dave Darcy, Elspeth Beard, Levi & Ollie and Bridget McCutchen all speaking candidly about their individual experiences of travel and how technology has impacted on the experience.

f you would like to support my channel so that I can continue to bring you great videos, why not buy me a coffee, it’s only £2 and it will go towards my fuel and other biking essentials, I may even give you a public shout out. buymeacoffee.com/701adventures

I was at an event where Helge Pederson gave a talk/slideshow about his RTW. He was selling a coffee table book on his travels at the time. I, now, still only partially understand Marshall Macluhan's "The medium is the message" . With action cameras today, anyone should be able to grasp the adversities.

It’s really a shame that Noraly couldn’t have been there maybe next year I’m really disappointed that no one mentioned ItchyBoots she did everything that these folks did completely alone and posting videos 2 or 3 times a week no one else comes close!

@@knuckles-3386 I absolutely agree with you. To be honest I was a bit disappointed in some respects in the presentations. It would be great if Itchy Boots did visit again, fingers crossed for 2025. 👍👍
