control used to examine you test is correct or wrong

Control has nothing in it (6% albumin) and is used to make sure ur forward grouping is really all positive, that it is actually positive because the patient is ab rh postive and not just something that is causing all of it to be positive like panagglutination causing the cells to agglutinate giving u false positives.
