I cried watching this performance last night. It’s amazing seeing Abi coming into her own. This was mesmerizing.

Hello Abi's Grandparents. I am a HUGE fan of Abis from the moment I saw her audition. She is SO amazing and deserves to win the title but probably won't because all the young girls will vote for one of country boys 🤮 If Abi can just finish in the Top 3 for sure, get her trip back to Indigo for the local performance that Idol does for the final 3, I would LOVE to see that. I am 62 years old and it is rare an Idol performer rocks my world but Abi does. I have enjoyed her so much and can't wait to purchase her first CD and see her live when she comes through St. Louis where I live. She will be the first American Idol singer I will pay to see live, that's how much I enjoy her voice, performances. She has an INCREDIBLE talent with a BIG heart ❤ She is SO MATURE beyond her years.

Sometimes I have heard that it would be better for Abi to come in second since the winner goes thru too much red tape to be put out on the market! Look at Daughtry, Jennifer Hudson, Not winners but did become superstars anyway

she went out of her comfort zone and nailed it, Amy would be proud

She killed this one for sure. I think if she brings a few more performances like this, she wins.

I have known Abi her whole life. Her mom and aunt have been my good friends for 30 years. I love watching your reaction videos of her. It is exactly how I feel. She is so amazing and truly genuinely sweet!!

She knows how to give emotion, voice, and moves! I have never wanted anyone to win as much as Abi!

I have watched American idol since it began and I have to say that Abi’s performance on that was the best I have ever seen on American Idol

My husband and I have loved Abi ever since her audition. She’s been the one to beat all along. This performance just showed other sides of her and her voice that we needed to see. Loved it! I’m a huge Evanescence fan too & I totally approve of this cover!

I'm so mad I had a call and missed her performance live. Thanks to Talentking I was able to go back and see everything. At first I got chills and thought Amy Lee should be proud. Then I got completely lost in her performance.

Her talent showed some in the beginning of the season but still they were pretty much neck and neck (somewhat tied). Until this performance. This one set her on a different level, gave her great attention, which in the end, won the season for her.

Superb vocals. I have loved this song since I haerd it on KZread in an AMV to Final Fantasy scenes. If you haven't heard the Wagakki Band sing this with Amy Lee, you absolutely should. It is my favorite version.

Definitely amazing performance, and oh yeah that's a hard song to sing amy lee sings like an angel rising to the heavens and I'm not very religious at all. This one really got me, because this was my cousin's favorite band and song he was sadly killed in a car accident a truck driver fell asleep at the wheel driving hit him and sent him to the other side of the intersection on his roof. The saddest part was it was my sister's birthday she was turning 6 we had a slice of cake in the refrigerator for him when he would have gotten back. Little did we know the cake would still be there I was the last of my family members to see or talk to him I asked him if he would play with me and my sisters and broth when he got back.

"Megastar"? While I get the sentiment, do you really think that's actually attainable regardless of where she places on the show? If she has as much success as Haley Reinhart, I'll be impressed, not for the lack of talent but rather the feckless nature of the industry. This performance reminded me a little of Floor Jansen (no small compliment by the way!)

Beautiful voice, just not powerful enough to match the energy of the band. Be honest, she was almost drowned out by the band.

Julia Gagnon was way better.

Yeah right. Julia has a GREAT voice no doubt but Abi has more talent and superior in stage presence. I will pay $$$ to you see Abi, don't think so for Julia. Maybe they will tour together. From what i've seen they have developed a strong friendship 😍
