It's obvious where Abi got her singing talent from. Apparently, Abi was humming in her mother's womb from the sonogram. She was born to sing! Absolutely angelic together, beautiful harmony. So happy for Abi! She was my pick from the start.

I watched her FANTASTIC, TRANSFORMATIVE audition, then stepped away. Came back, FULL BLAST, when I learned Abi had ACTUALLY WON! Now, at 68, I am absolutely AM AN ABI ADDICT. The only regret is that Abi did not give us HER version of a Whitney Houston classic. ❤

I’m so blown away 😳💗💗💗…incredible. That Abi also graduated summa cum laude…despite dropping out of hs to help her mom with the 7 children per parents divorcing…But wait, there’s more!! During sonogram OF Abi 😳 the nurse heard Abi - the fetus, not yet born! - humming🎶🎵 So…how good is God to gift them both with such talent, fortitude and intelligence☺️💗💗💗

Love this!!! So beautiful that they can sing together! My son, my only child, and I used to sing together when he was growing up. We were very close, attached at the hip, as people would say. Tragically, I lost him in an auto accident when he was 27. What a special soul he is! This mama will be broken and empty for the rest of my life! Keep singing together ladies! It's a beautiful gift you both have and it's a blessing to have this bond and connection! You sound like angels!!

I think the I most admire about Abi is her reliance on the basics of being a great vocalist and reinforced by her mom when she reminded her to sit up straight so she can maintain that control of her breath. As far as whether I'll be a big fan is going to be determined by her song choices going forward. If she picks her audition path, I'm thinking not so much, not that it's bad just not as engaging for me as say her turn on 'Bring Me to Life'. I keep paying her the compliment of mentioning her in the same breath as Floor Jansen, who doesn't always sings songs that engage (which is to say there are some songs that really make her vocals attractive to me, but others that are, "not so much" though it doesn't diminish what a wonderful artist she is) but she is by far, one of the few vocalists who are a master of her instrument as her live performances attest to. I think that for Abi to go from her audition to where she is now, the day before the finals, is a testament of how much mastery she commands over her instrument and makes it possible for her venture into genre's that are brand new and slay it. I also want to give her kudos for her stage presence which seems to have really grown. She is who I'd vote for but as we all know, the most talented and one who actually is a vocalist rather than a singer, does not always win the popularity vote. That I'm afraid says more about the voters than about Abi who is outstanding.
