Pls educate yourself first !! As someone who is being treated for anxiety since last 2 years.. I can vouch for the fact that medicines basically help in managing/ alleviating your symptoms . Symptoms can reoccur (once medication is stopped) if the root cause has not been eradicated (through therapy, lifestyle changes, wellness program etc). Hence it's immensely true that treating or rather managing symptoms... And eradicating the root cause are two seperate challenging tasks !

Achara is pretty correct with her opinion in deeper deconstruction of quirks rather than just the surface. This quirk of Jaby with just fixing the 3 things on surface example is itself a thing that he needs help with. Achara is right but Jaby also has a point. Often times you need to get the immediate issues sorted out. You might not have the time or money to go for long sessions. In such cases the immediate issue and the cognitive logic behind it can be addressed. probing much deeper can be left for more serious psychological ailments

So, I'm a doctor. And i was on therapy in my former years. I would like to say that therapy does tell u where everything went wrong and more often than not it stems down to ur childhood but then it helps u to forgive everyone and everything and realise that u can still chage patterns when u know why it is happening. It wasn't anyone's fault. Everyone was trying the best of what they could in that very time. U got damaged in the process but that's still fixable if u know that it's never about blaming anyone. Talking about doctors overdiaganosing or following up for money. So, firstly there are always enough sick people to make money. Even if basic is done for all of them at minimal price, money would never be an issue. There are a few reasons for this. Firstly, medical science has progressed so much that everyone has something and thinking about it in the long term, u want to fix it and call the patient back again. Secondly, most of the times by the time someone approaches a doctor he already has developed so many problems which were not diagnosed that they get surprised when they know about it. For eg i get like several thousand patient who have their first response as denial. Like how could this happen to them when they came walking and talking and there was no issue 2 days back. I would like to say here that human body is a marvellous machine. It would fix itself to a point where it can further not and that's when u seek help. So everytime and always, problems will start suddenly. Everyone needs to calm down. Thirdly, doctors keep searching for problems in every patient but as mentioned mental health superceeds. On several sevaral occasions,it's the mind having problems. But since it's a diagnosis of exclusion, u need to rule all the other causes out before u say it's the brain and that takes time and several investigations. Thus, the follow up.

I didn't have sad emotions when something happened banned. but if I want to call someone I can easily interact with everyone but I avoid it most of the time. There is a thin line between this disease and introvert Btw I ambivert. Can any physiologist help me? Just give me knowledge about this because Googlele sometimes doesn't right in symptoms. On paper ESR should be around 20 but in reality it's still just fine if you even have it around 70-80 that's because of our daily lives, many factors could effect your toxin levels in your blood like air quality around you, you ate something, any other underlying disease, the environment around your or your general lifestyle. ESR on 20 is the sign of a mostly fit and healthly person but even if it's higher it's still normal, you just have to improve your diet and lifestyle to make it better avoiding any future complications in the process. However if your ESR is near 90-100 than it's a concern and a sign of a probable underlying disease and only then doctors take further examinations. So here, Abhishek's fear of high ESR is totally invalid as it's still in 20's and his fears and anxiety are taking over because everything is not perfect from his pov

I have to agree with Achara, even though I relate with Jaby more. IT is not healthy to treat symptoms instead of figuring out the root cause of the problems. This is my nightmare with my mom, who is more content with treating the symptoms instead of taking care of the root cause. I understand this, but I always dread getting blood tests or any other tests done. During the height of Pandemic, when I was living in US and I was traveling to and from India, I absolutely hated taking the tests before travel. The possibility that it might show COVID positive kept me up at night before tests. Thankfully I was always negative. The idea of missing the trip and more importantly dealing with the repercussions of having COVID scared me to the point I would rather blissfully remain ignorant.

Jaby was really struggling to say what was in his mind at the end but I agree with him doctors some times exaggerate your problem so that you would come to them for a long time and since you know almost nothing but medical science you have high chance of getting screwed into paying them a amount that is way to much for that problem if doctors told you it is a minor problem you won't pay them that much

You're not completely wrong jaby, it would be good if therapists heard their patients on what they want to deal with at the moment, one person could want their entire life looked at and distangle everything while another one can want to just work on their top 3 prblms only. So if the therapists listens and gives u the disclaimer that being the second person would have some limitations then it would be better

I am a master's student in astrophysics, I don't have that much money to solve all the things wrong with me. I just try to have a healthy mindset. Try to take a break from anxious situations, try to disassociate. And always take others' help when dealing with issues. I had a lot of trauma, don't have time to deal with it. I will when I have the time and money. I am just trying to be sane everyday.

And also I see that a word loses its meaning if it's spoken all the time :P which makes sense if you see it. Although this I love you from the West has started reaching India too in the last decade and you see these phrases being used almost every day in India as well.

To be fair, if you see your life from the perspective of psychology, everyone including you and the psychiatrist have the mental issues. 😂

Okay, so speaking as a Psychology masters. There are different types of therapy. The "goes on forever" kind of therapy is psychoanalytical therapy. There are also therapies than end in 12-14 sessions like CBT. When you go to a therapist, ask them which type of therapist they primarily are and how long they think their treatment will last to get you to your goal (they can usually give an estimate depending on problems). This is to happen in first/second session so that you can decide if you want to commit to therapy or not. If your therapist refuses to give you these, then they are wasting your time and you need to find another one. We do need to do history taking of your childhood and other things, but that is just because people usually do not know where their issues stem from. So do tell everything to your therapist. They will not share this with anyone else, well anyone else who is not a doctor. Doctors talk to each other, and it is very useful in psychologists because sometimes we find out ways that can help us with our own patients. You never know with human mind.

No i support achara on that ! Most of main things are deep rooted…. If i have have cough a bad doctor will give medicine right away but a good doctor will ask u what did u eat and many other things……..even u solve the three thing which are in fount of u like jaby want… it will not be a permanent solution and new problems will come the main thing is to find root cause and then solve it……

Mannn it's relatable. My doctors too say you are not like common or other people. You feel more intense emotions than normal people😂😂😂😂saying my parents are overly caring for me. 😂But it has 50 percent environmental causes and 50 percent biologically or inherited. That anxiety pain travels within my body sometimes though

Depression and anxiety are two mental problems both having common symptoms and their solution are same,if a person is anxious he/she will always fight ,shout, run fast, walk fast, eat fast, take tensions for completing a project, or having sweat while writing an exam/test,feeling irritating when someone is mocking you,so when you take all these be heart ,you go into Depression, What ever I said now are all stage 1,these symptoms are common among all people but reacting to all this situation depends on people to people, so now I have a solution, 1)taking a slow cold water shower 2) jogging along with a close friend continuously and the same time talking positively 3)meditation combined with yoga is the best solution specifically relaxation techniques 4)massages for full body/and head 5)not involving in a fight, getting away from negative person who always mock you ,that will certainly help 6)smart phones/laptops/psp/video games all these are the major reasons for anxiety ,so try not to use them not more than 1 hour in 24 hours, more the games we play more the anxious we become, and then that goes out of control, then we start to get physical symptoms of ticking sensation throughout the body, which may result in sleepless night, then we start assuming it to be other big disease and start going to shamam/pandit/swamy/maulvi/father of church, which may increase your symptoms more and more So the magic solution is patience, try talking like a naive doctor and not a road side coolie, Thanks Try to down to earth, don't expect anything from anyone ,do your homework, be prepared, stay strong, you can do it
