He didn’t get to the top. He was boosted up on another officers shoulders and when the gunman saw the officer looking up on the roof, he pointed his rifle at the officer and the officer got startled and fell off the other officers shoulders the gunman then proceeded to fire at the stage immediately before the officer could call for help. Start watching some real true reporting and you might have gotten the story of what went down. Just sayin.

And regardless of whether you're a police officer or not, what are you gonna do when a gun is pointed at you? More than likely, you'd back away, too, and by the time you report the incident, the event has already occurred. Why didn't the police arrest people carrying firearms during Jan. 6th either? Leave the detecting to the real detectives.

I've wondered that myself. Was it the initial shock? Sometimes human brains focus on everyday objects and "normal" stuff to cope with trauma. Or were they his favorite shoes? Or was it lemme put my shoes on in case for running?

The question is, how did the officer get on the roof? A ladder? The building was probably closed, with no access. It's the damn weekend. No employees have been reported to be eyewitnesses.???

Perhaps the young people today need to check up with each other making sure that maybe no one is "a loner" , or take notice to see if someone has "anger issues". It is possible, man-up young people, farm your generations for happiness and well-being.
