Agree 100%, been out in 230hp one with bigger turbo etc and it still didn't feel particularly fast.. but they're easily one of the best looking hatches of their time.

Whatever everyone says, in its league it is the Best looking car and is under 7.5 seconds on 100. This you can become also under 10 thousand euros. Difficult to top that.
I loved my abarth punto evo! Such a fun car
these are the funniest type of car to drive everyday. Small and nimble in cities and country roads while still able to get it going at high speeds
I owned exactly this car for 3 years, sold it about 3 months ago. Nice to see it is used as intended 😁 But current owner made it sound a lot quieter

Even 100-200 times are kinda bad, driver made 24s, my best time was around 18s
Rather see cars like this than unobtanium ones

Had one for 2y after 3 595 Abarth, i loved the racing feeling of the Punto Evo more than the 595. So much more fun

I tried the Alfa Mito 150 ps manual and was cool ,short gears not like the trashy long gears that car makers do nowadays

i owned 1 for a while. loved every second of it. except for the weakpoint in the engine multiair valve unit. that failed twice on me. but still a fun little car.

Not sure how much HP this should have, but my 1,9 JTD Grande Punto I used to have with stage 1 (around 200 HP) felt faster. Still a cool car, was dreaming about an Abarth back then :)

I don't think 6th gear has any extra torque, is just a gear to reduce consumption on the highway

@@tukisland Mito also such a cool fun car…. The abarth has 215 Horses with around 330NM. upgraded intercooler, exhaust und software :)
It is well underpower at 190 it was barely going up 😅

Something is not ok with this car it does not accelerate fast and top speed is low. Maybe the gearbox is the blame? I had a Fiat Albea with 1.4 77 hp and could get to 190 km/h.

No there is no problem he forgot to use 6 gear it seems. He never uses 6 gear for some reason, maybe broken gearbox

Which a stage 1 tune on this is. The only 270hp I see is the Fiat 500 advert. Which isn't doing 270, but around 200 based on power to weight calculation I did under that video.

Also, they are basically the same, the big difference is in the multi-air module which controls the valves opening indipendetly.

@@maho8204 no man, they are not the same, the t-jet mounted on the 500 abarth is totally different, it is much more resistant to processing, the multiair it is a delicate engine that has given many problems especially when important cavalries are pulled out
