This is not the same truck as the step side I drove out of the junkyard! But thanks for watching anyway!

Dam, wish my stuff started that easy!!
I love the great old cars and trucks... especially this Dodge...you find and bring back to life. Your videos are a great way to end my work day. Just finished another 14 hour shift. Keep up the awesome finds and fixes...love the pressure wash too!
That is one of my favorite body styles. Love to see more videos of that truck. Also really enjoy seeing old vehicles brought back to life. Keep up the good work.
Beautiful old truck you saved there! I have 2 army M880 Trucks. Both 1977 1-1/4 tons. 1993 w350 1 ton with the legendary 12v Cummins, and soon a 1950 Dodge 1 ton dumper. Fellow mopar man here. Mostly because I was raised with them and know them inside and out. These old trucks/cars will be going long past the plastic electronic government forced regulated crap they make now days. I loved it last winter when it was -30 and the old Army Dodges fired and up and my neighbors newer Toyota wouldn't. lol Keep saving these oldies and making these great vids!

MOPAR-" Massively Overpowered And Respected" I owned a 1978 W150 4x4 stepside Warlock, Truck was a beast, it had a 360 with a 4 speed, full time 4 wheel drive, sure grip posi- front and rear, 3:55 gears, N.P. 205 transfer case, Borg Warner Force One Clutch, Weiland High-Rise intake with a Eldelbrock 750 carb, Eldelbrock rv cam, Headers, with 36"Cherry Bomb Glasspacks, and riding on Mickey Thompson 12x35"x15 Baja H-P tires. I loved that truck, there wasn't any where that truck couldn't take me, mud, rivers, snow, my Warlock never got me stuck or stranded, and I pulled plenty of fords and chevy's out of plenty of situations. I sure miss that truck. Sorry for the long statement but seeing that orange truck" yes mine was orange too" just made me want another one. Thanks for sharing.
I love the exhaust note on that truck! That truck would look darn good with a nice hand wash and wax!
Man I'm so proud of you I stand by you 100 %so glad to see a younger guy as myself to bring these old mopars back to life
You could probably brighten that paint job with a great polish and maybe rubbing compound. Just an idea, but otherwise the truck looks great for having sat idle for years. Great video, man.
You spent quite a bit of time cleaning up that paint. It looked 100% better afterwards. May I make a suggestion? Purple Power, diluted at a ratio of 1cup per gallon of water works wonders. Mix up a batch in a 5 gallon bucket. Get the truck wet, scrub it with the soap solution, allow it to set for a few minutes and then rinse it off. I’m telling you, it works wonders! Great video. Cheers.
Nice! I just bought a '78 Club Cab D200 to go with my '73 D100. Love these trucks!
The Government had a policy in the eighties here, no govt truck kept more than 6 years regardless of mileage. Neighbor went to see the surplus sale vehicles, sealed bid on a 1977 Dodge D 100 (Tan) 225 -6 39,000 miles (Foreman's truck) bid $1,200.00 with a bank draft for 10% and got the truck. Lucky dog. Used it for ten years.
Very nice! Id bet that the paint on that ole dodge would buff out nicely, soft compound then some good ole wax and she'll look good as almost new.......try it????

Tried a spot and it came back!
On this episode of MOPAR Hoarders... Love the new truck. My favourites were always the short beds. The 318 cid. V8 was always a very reliable engine with lots of possibilities. When are you getting to the Warlock? Thank you.
Great video Dylan! Thanks for the memories... my first vehicle was a 1978 Dodge D100!❤️👍👍 Also learned to wrench on cars from that ole truck.
I was Diggin' that Allman Brothers...
Glad to see your channel blowing up ! As always thumbs up, keep up the good work !!
Damn man. That's a nice truck! A good cut and buff on the paint, tune up and tires, and you've got a nice daily driver!!!

What an awesome truck! Great find!
I love these "pressurewash the old vehicle" videos :)
Great truck Dylan body looks solid and engine seem to be ok. She's a keeper and would be a good daily driver nice find.
Its crazy how good some of that old paint holds up
My dad bought a 75 Camaro that was covered in shit just like the truck he wet it with the hose sprayed it down with 409 waited 10-15 minutes rinced clean no scrubbing or high pressure spray

Cool another project to work on! I liked the power washing music!
I own a 78 (orange stepside) and a 91 (highlighter yellow short bed). I think these are the best looking trucks out there. Please buff this orange/red one, it looks like it will shine. Make that your next video please.
love the music
as some one who doesn't know much about cars i would love you to explain what your doing at each point! awesome video anyway and keep up the great work
Nice truck. Another good score.
Watched Vanishing Point just the other day (for the 5000th time) and recognized the song immediately. Great choice!

Beautiful truck! I’m restoring my grandpa’s old 77 d100 with the slant six and you just gave me a great idea with that color
Pressure washer are truly a gift from God! Sweet score!
Nice truck bro! Two thumbs up
Great looking find !
thats why i love old mopar, they will last forever especially slant 6es and 318s with a little tlc
I did the same thing with a 58 Chevy Apache cleaned up pretty sweet awesome patina! Sat for 18 years
I wanna see you buff that truck so we know just how much you can bring that paint back to life.
Here in PA we don't see old trucks with fender arches still intact, in the rear especially. This would be a solid candidate for restoration out this way. I'd just go with it, she will come back to life again. Like all you guy`s channels and keep up the good work!
Nice! I know Pops wanted to light em up!
Nothing wrong with giving an old classic a bath after sitting so long. Almost really a good first step into bringing the truck back to life. Looks good.
Great find
Awesome! I love your channel!
Wow brings back memories. my uncle had a 74 d 100 that was same color. bought it from a junk yard in East Tennessee . he drove that thing blowing oil back to Michigan lol. he rebuilt a 273 out of a 66 Belvedere that was balanced and blueprinted . I think he put over 500,000.00 miles on that truck.
I grew up a Ford guy but those D100 Dodges are really starting to grow on me. My daily is a dodge dakota and i absolutely love that truck, mid size truck with a V8, you can't go wrong!
I always do a nice Comet wash first thing, pressure washing tends to stripe and lift paint. Cool truck though, seems pretty solid over all.
So rad man.
Thats awesome seriously love the wheels and tires you put on it
Wow you got quite a fleet now
You find the coolest stuff 👍
New subscriber to your channel my friend, like your video. I picked up an old lebaron with a slant six that had been sitting for about 15 yrs. Cleaned the gas tank put fresh gas and a battery and it started right up. After a complete tune up and brake cylinders and brake pads n shoes runs n drives great. Keep up them great videos bud greatings from Mexico.
WHOA!!! Look at how well that thing cleaned up!!! Sweet!!! Also -- damn good music, too. :-)
Cool truck. Nice choice of music too.
The songs really throw this one together.
hey man like your videos keep them rolling
8:03 peep that Ford in the back👌 gotta love ole reliable trucks
That truck is sooo much like mine. I would love to be able to find a seat like that. I just have a normal bench. Thanks for showing it. Give it a good wax and see what happens.
Good one, I look forward to your vids
So cool ! My dad has a 72 d100 it's two tone baby blue and regular blue with the chrome trim between. It has some rust but it's a tough old truck . They built them to last .
Great truck dude Congrulations
My first "new" truck was a '79 Dodge, Red, (411 Rear End) 2WD Regular Cab Pickup. It had a 360 in it. After a couple of years, it had a Holley Quad, Dualed out with Cherry Bombs and an incredible Nakamichi sound system. It looked like an old farm truck, but I ate TransAms.
KZreads king of random pressure washing montages
Damn good looking pickup!
Cool vanishing point soundtrack!
Perty cool and sweet music choice too
looks good Dylan
A good buff job should bring the paint back to life all though i see some rust in places but it will look half decent
That looks like it will buff out nice
Excelente!!
That old truck fired right up and ran like a Swiss watch , Bad ass I like it !
Awesome!
Many times people become injured and are unable to drive themselves and the cars or trucks sit.
Sweet find i wish i was that lucky
right on man..i love how youre a mopar guy, thats almost my exact truck right there, mines a 79 d-100 long bed, 318 was the sportster (edit no sportsman, duh) camper edition but just a half ton, ive had it mostly parked for 10 years but kept it alive with necessary repairs and replacements just in case a spare vehicle is needed

Looking forward to making her a good runner. Love the truck!!
Love that 70's music
Running pretty well for something parked for that long. Some interesting noises, and a very interesting repair on the carb...

That's actually a dirt dobber nest. They use mud and dirt to make a house. They especially love cars.

+Dylan McCool On the video it looks like some kind of putty or something had been used to repair a damaged carb casting or union. The dirt dobbers make more sense, but some people do like "unusual" repairs for problems...
Love it! Great job. Someday I will have you find me a nice PU. Thanks !
NIce find! Definitely keep those period wheels.
Nice find and nice video. My 2 cents, what I do differently on my projects is. Always wash from top to bottom, by the time the water reach the lower side, it´s softened and comes off quickly. Doing the engine at the same time is much easier to work on them. A "cob web" or "things" filled engine bay is not a good place to work with. In some of them I could not even see parts of the engine/components, no way to start working on something you can´t see. Thumbs up Cheers. ;-)
Those are cool trucks.
Awesome truck!!!
This sporty Dodge reminds me of this truck I've lusted after: always wanted a lifted Power Wagon (same orange paint with black and yellow trim) with that super-ill cow catcher like the one on "Simon & Simon".
I love that few seconds with the reflection of his blue dodge in the door of the red dodge as the scum melts away great shot
noice score, 25 years , wow
Sweet bro
Nice Dylan. LIKE !!!
I like the property you live on as much as I do the vehicles.
My dad a brand new in 78 3/4 ton with a 360. It was a beast. Got rid of it about 25 years ago
That looks just like my old truck back in 87, I got a 76 custom 100 back in 87 when I was in the 10th grade. Washed dishes at a restaurant for the summer and paid $700 for it. Swapped out the slant 6 and manual 3 speed for a 273 out if a 68 cuda, cam, headers, and 4.10 gears and a automatic and went out and blew away everyone in town from stop light to spotlight.
I had an 79 orange short bed with a slant 6 - 3 speed on the column. Drove it over 200K! In fact it was 200,666.6 when it threw two rods on the highway in 100 degree heat! I started to hear it rap in 2nd gear starting about 160.000K and just kept putting STP in the crank case with every oil change.
You have done it again. Now i see where u get it from.
Makes me miss my 87 chevy i did everything, all i needed was a gearbox and she was ready to go but i had to get rid of it because i didnt have the space but man i sure miss that truck. I have a 98 chevy k1500 with a 5.7 in it. Good truck
Awesome ❤👌👍👍 love that truck
cleans up nice! 👍👌
My 78 D100 225 Slant 6 had that grile. She was a 2wd shortbed auto 727.
Sure is prettier than the one i picked up last weekend, a 1985 Fargo\Dodge w200 with the Nissan SD33T diesel engine, a bit of a dog, but the price was unbeatable!
Awesome, l really like this cause I've owned two Dodge trucks, one Dakota, and an a Quad-cab Hemi, both great vehicles, and this truck just lets everyone know that Dodge are awesome vehicles, thanks for sharing this video
Good job
Nice!
I'm looking for an older dodge p/u myself all of your videos are awesome
