Great restoration but it could have been made at least twice as long so we could see more details of the processes you used. Just my opinion you understand.

I believe that is an ocean liner, not a cruise ship. There is a big difference, ya know! Also, if i could get all of the JEP mini ships, but functional and already restored and repaired, that would be AWESOME.

I wholly agree. The hours of joy this toy must have brought to its original owner are incalculable. Now we seem to live in a digital age where toys like this are a lost art. Its a loss.

Looked better in original condition to my taste. But nice job!

И тот малыш, который играл с этим пароходом давным-давно забыл про него, вырос, состарился и может быть уже умер, а игрушка его снова как новая. Поэтому одно удовольствие наблюдать, как таким игрушкам дают вторую жизнь. Лайк! As a child, I was sure that toys have a soul, and they suffer a lot when children forget about them or throw them away... And the kid who played with this steamer long ago forgot about it, grew up, got old and may have already died, and his toy is like new again. Therefore, it is a pleasure to watch how such toys are given a second life. Like!

These old toys are so much better than most of what is made today. I don't mind plastic, I have some fairly high quality plastic toys from when I was younger, but I hate the way modern toys are made to be played with for a few years then get thrown away. They aren't meant to be repaired if they break, or be passed on to the next generation. They are meant to be cheap and short lived.

Correction, its a toy of an ocean liner. Cruising wasn't at its peak in the 30s, but ocean crossings were way before cruising was even thought of. Cruise ships take passengers on pleasure voyages while ocean liners take people from point A to point B regardless of the weather. What liner the toy is based off of... idk, but it just seems like a parent let their kid try and make their own version of the Ile de France. They would've done a great job for their time anyway, as you did for this video. Well done😁

Maybe you can restore the old steam ship united states because of the great work you do

There is a kind of simplicity and beauty to those old toys, so far away from the "toys" of modern times. Just imagine how log a boy of the 30s had to save his money to by one of those.

My grandpa had one of these in the 1950s. He gave it to me but I lost it in the sea. This josseled a bunch of memories and I'm sure the ship is resting like Titanic near Constanta.
