Abandoned Mine // Table Mountain // South Africa // VLOG_087
Discovering a MAZE of HIDDEN TUNNELS deep INSIDE Table Mountain...99% of people DON'T even know this exists! Oh, and we were NOT the only large creatures down there!

If you are wondering about things to do in Cape Town or things to do in south africa then this is definitely it. But make sure you go with someone who knows what they are doing. These Table Mountain mine tunnels were super fun.
The Vredehoek tin mine operation was short-lived, 1910-1912, employed a staff of 100 people at one stage and was listed on the Cape Town Stock Exchange - Sammy Marks was reputed to have been a shareholder.

You just more and more epic with every video!
Cool vid! I used to live in Vredehoek many years ago and we often used to go exploring in that mine as kids. The entrance to that part of the cave was a lot more accessible in those days. It seems to have always been a traditional hideout for porcupines, as I remember finding their coils in the cave even back then.
Cape Town, Cape Town so many secrets it just never ends... nice vid Adam

Another great Vid Mate
Ive been in underground mines many times here in South Africa if you look at these tunnels they nearly square with no support and no anchoring bolts. Theres not even chisel marks? Pretty impressive. You should get diving gear and dive that shaft and record it... at 6:64 whats those old rock building ruins on your left shoulder maybe where they processed the ore...
Cool!✨
Just discovered a piece of Cape Town I never knew existed ... Thank you
Firstly its really mind blowing , of this discovery seriously as me personally following the kruger million story which date back 1882 if im not mistaken, not to sound rude thou everyone but just to give a laughter think about it the wallet found ,onto it say Switzerland if im also not mistaken,so dating back it is a big role play aswell as Cecile Rhode error to aswell ,evens the pipeline tru the mountain really there is more in this mountain and the talls to not tell but to lean the way ladies and gents

@@deanjoubert30 Dude you implying a False Statement, you where not there... anyways its fine i get Your Fear seem to overpower your Thoughts... or you trying to make a point of Crime in South Africa? have you been Robbed there? When? did you report the Crime? we live in a World of Watch your Tongue careful what you say especially if you don't have a Proof

Its a possibility as many of my friends has been robbed on such hiking trails and if you watch news or if you blog and read articles you'll find many of such kind of scenarios that basically is enough proof to anyone that probably such crimes or worse could happen over there anywhere in South Africa as it is the most dangerous country in the world in terms of petty crimes and murderous genocidal crimes. The government arent doing anything about it neither and they don't care. Anyway its just a comment as anyone is allowed to express themselves living in a rainbow nation we are empowered to have freedom of speech. Just be wary of probabilities and possibilities. By the way its an amazing scenery as shown in the clip I am delighted to discover this beautiful presence as shown in the clip I wouldn't mind going there with a large group of friends to explore.
I wonder why was it abandoned
