I just commented that I hope people were able to get in there and remove some of the more memorable items before he managed to destroy everything. I am doing research for a family vacation and found that someone new has bought and reopened it! It has some lovely reviews of how it is similar to its hayday! The lift is still defunct but they have the shows, some small rides, and shops open!

I feel so bad about those animatronics, especially the Rockafire Explosion ones. They're pretty valuable and rare. Shame they just have to sit there and rot away, with there being people out there that just dream of having them..

Who knows--maybe someone who's interested in that stuff can go up and get them. I mean, even the old owner told the public they could take what they wanted, and they'd be better off rather then just left there. Funtown still has a web site up. I also found some news articles. He lost most of his buisnesses but still runs a festival. He had manic bipolar disorder and went off his meds and lost 2 buisnesses. Pretty sad story. Apparently he is back on meds and doing better now. It was already Guntown mountain before he bought it and turned it into Funtown mountain. Funtown mountain even has a youtube channel haha.

As another person said billy bob is being fixed by some kid Wait for it... On a higher note, a new bar opened called rockafire and they got the original rockafire explosion straight out of creative engineering. They needed some fixes, but it's open now and they're back

I always detested Chuck E Cheese. I would literally get sick after eating there... I'm upset I was born after CEC bought Showbiz, because I would've probably have loved to go there at least once.
