Coaching does matter especially when the previous defensive minded HC never had a defense in the top 15 of the league or even top 20. Harbaugh has a proven record in college and the NFL of turning teams around quickly. I am not saying they will be a lock for the playoffs but they will be a strong contender in the hunt.

@@TreWimsical Aaron Rodgers in 1-4 in nfc championship games so 5 games. Rodgers is also 80-10 w the packers when the defense gives up 20 points or less. Which is a very high win percentage. Not saying Rodgers perfect cause no qb is even Brady but a lot of these games by other qbs don't have 2 constantly score as much as Rodgers. They have 2 "score when it counts" there's no scoring when it counts if your defense is horrific like that..

This is a defense that kept 10 out of 17 opponents to 21 points or less last year. League average points per game is 22ish. He doesn't need to be a superstar. He needs to just be a part of a team that that put up at least 21 points every game. The REST of this offense is built like it should be high scoring. To a great extent any decent QB would give the pass game enough credibility that other defenses can't just triple team G Wilson and let their defensive front try to stuff B Hall. Once there is even any decent QB play requiring a defense to respect WR 2/3 and tight ends it totally changed our offensive projections. It's not that Rodgers is lifting this team to new heights. It's that all we needed was a QB above replacement level and we got one that is, unarguably, better than that. He doesn't need to be a superstar but he *could* be

Do you watch football? Aaron has had great years where he didn't have to play the last couple games of the season because they locked up the number one seed. Why is he the fastest to 400 touchdowns in NFL history?

If the Jets O line can keep him upright I could see them making the playoffs but he will likely struggle against some of the better defenses they play. That opener against SF with that defense could make it ugly for the Jets on the road. The AFC East is still owned by Buffalo so we'll see.

The jets are definitely going to make the playoffs. The AFC east got significantly weaker so they should win the division.

Last time “12,” was healthy…how far they get in the post season? Oh yeah-didn’t make it because he lost to the lions. The Jets are a lock for a .500 or better record and that’s it.

Man they find any way to trash rodgers. Hes only missed the playoffs 3 times in his career and they all had reasons why. First time was his first yr starting, the second he got hurt and tried to come back late in the season when they were already out of playoff contention, and last time adams wqs gone, he threw to a bunch of rookies and jones kept getting hurt. Even if aaron is a game manager with this roster they are making the playoffs. They got too much talent on the offensive end, and the defense is elite, and they also seem like a very together team. They rock with rodgers and rodgers has trust in his coaching staff. I wouldnt be surprised if they win the division. Health is the only concern i have for this team

Did he make the playoffs last year? Or do most recent seasons not count. He has NEVER gone to playoffs with the Jets. Neither has any other player or coach on that team. What he accomplished when he was younger, with different coaching, different players around him, different competition and before he went bat sht crazy doesn't apply.

@crystalballers he won back to back mvps just 3 yrs ago and last yr he got hurt their first possession what are you talking about. How can you say he wasn't going to make the playoffs with the jets and they nearly did with Wilson
