Aaron Rodgers does not deserve to sit at the big boy table when it comes to quarterbacks. He has had opportunities to win multiple Super Bowl rings but ultimately choked in the playoffs. In his last 2 years in Green Bay, he was a league MVP and was in playoff games where they were close enough to win if he had played better. He had the loss against Tampa where he could have ran it in but instead chose it to throw an errant pass to Devante Adams and then proceeded to lose the next year to the San Francisco 49ers in a game where he didn't score an offensive touchdown. The regular season stats are great, but they are pretty much empty calories if you don't perform in the playoffs. Aaron Rodgers can go down as a great regular season quarterback, but I don't think he can ever be considered the G.O.A.T.

The reason Rodgers doesn't have as many rings as Brady is because unlike Brady Rodgers has only had 4 of his 15 seasons in GB with a top 10 defense one of those years he won the Lombardi trophy. Brady in 16 of his 19 seasons has had a top 10 defense. Defense wins championships and so do kickers in Brady's case.

Dan Marino didn't win a ring, but he's right there in the GOAT conversation. He never had a 1000 yard rusher, except one season when someone ran for 1001 yards. Only twice did he have a top ten defence(and in one of those years he went to the big game, and the other to the AFC Championship). All the other GOAT contestants had great coaches, weapons, or defences (an in Montana's case, all three). This is a team game, and some QBs do more with less. This is why Mount Rushmore shouldn't have some of the QBs on it (Elway, Montana) that people always put on it.
