Aaron Lee Tasjan on Bluegrass Underground, "The Dangerous Kind"

Музыка

With a distinct "indie folk grit," Berklee-trained Aaron Lee Tasjan has always considered himself a songwriter first, even as he built creds with glam-rockers New York Dolls, southern rockers Drivin’ N Cryin’, arena rockers Semi Precious Weapons and British rockers Alberta Cross.
Imbued with wry wit, a sharp tongue and a lot of heart, his songs harken John Prine, Tom Petty, Guy Clark, and Steve Goodman, solidifying him as one of the most intriguing songwriters to emerge in some time.
Taped deep within the subterranean amphitheater of The Caverns in the majestic Cumberland Mountains near Pelham, TN, this "musical adventure" series features both long-established and emerging artists within a broad spectrum of genres to include Roots-Rock, Jamband, R&B, Soul, Folk, Americana, and yes…even Bluegrass!
Season 8's featured artists also include Brandi Carlile, Billy Strings, Sam Bush Band, Sweet Lizzy Project, Tim O’Brien, Lettuce, Kathy Mattea, the Rev. Osagyefo Sekou, Turnpike Troubadours, Mary Gauthier, Flatt Lonesome, and Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper.
This is the first season for Bluegrass Underground in her new home in The Caverns. With a bigger room, broader stage and larger audience, every aspect of The Caverns heightens the experience of great music underground for concert fans and PBS home viewers alike.

@Hayden Fee he's lame for going to such great lengths to steal Tom Petty's style and sound. And, youre an idiot so for every counterfeit theres a person like you praising it.

Hahahaha that's amazing! His name is Brian Wright actually, and he's a stellar singer/songwriter in his own right. He's currently based out of Nashville, but I had the pleasure of working with him for several years when he lived in Los Angeles, including mixing his album Bluebird (kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y5-VysyiZrWsYqg.html). He and his wife Sally Jaye run a label called Cafe Rooster Records (www.caferoosterrecords.com/) and their entire catalog is well worth checking out. Sally also puts out amazing music, including this gem: kzread.info/dash/bejne/iGGNlMqve5Obqbw.html. Hope you like!
