I'm 58 and I can remember the first time I heard Sam Stone and had to know who this guy was. And since then the journey of him and his music and his colleagues has led me to people such as Guy Clark, Townes Van Zandt, Goodman, Guthrie, Blaze, and so many others. I slipped into southern rock and discovered Folk bluegrass the blues and so much more. Great storytellers and great writers. It become more about the song then just the music. From New York to Chicago from Tennessee to Texas. And I learn something everyday. The band, Dylan and a host of so many other heavily and heavenly influenced me in my music

Oh my goodness, I'm so glad I was at this performance. It was my favorite of the whole festival. I worshipped John and still do. There will never be another John Prine. My heart still aches for our loss.

Same! It was an amazing show! I’m a nurse, but even still, the worst part of Covid to me was the loss of John Prine. 💔

After his fight with throat cancer, he is still just as good if not better - I absolutely love listening to John Prine and love the lyrics to his songs and melodies. He just knows how to give you the chills. And I have met him on a few occasions and what a humble person. He's the real deal. Down to earth and kind as they come. Thanks to whoever posted this. See him in May and cannot wait!

@@4orrcountry I'm sorry especially if you're hurting as much as me after the world lost the amazing treasure of John Prine. He beat cancer twice but in the end this Godforsaken Corona virus stole him away so quickly and unexpectedly. The world can be so cruel.
