5:01, though being grounded is part of electrocution, the reason powerlines don’t feed through one wire (to my understanding) is because there are currents of electricity running back on some lines and forward on others (though I reckon I’m wrong about that). However, what I do know is when touching 2 or more of the powerlines consecutively, the current will transfer through your body from one line to the other and cause electrocution.

Its....its been 4 months since this video. Its takes planning for that especially if they wanna make an exactly replica of the board. You also gotta take into account that they film in bulk so they have videos prepared way in advance. Christian Slater in Gleaming the cube inspired me back in the early 90s. Absolutely loved the skate tricks and the movie in general. Big Shout out to Gleaming the cube. no, the only reason birds don’t get electrocuted when they’re on the power lines is because they’re standing on a single line. in order to get electrocuted you have to touch 2 separate lines. my dads a electrician so.

Also if you are touching a line and the ground you'll be electrocuted, as there is a potential difference between the line and ground. But theoretically if there is no potential difference between two power lines then you shouldn't get electrocuted.

@@yoshi0k262 No lol, powerlines are made with copper and aluminum with a steel core. The path of least resistance is always going to be through the powerline lol. If you were to touch the one powerline, theoretically you would be fine if your body wasn't touching anything else. If your body was touching something else, such as another powerline with a different potential, the ground, or even wooden pole that is holding the powerlines up(provided it has some moisture in it), would then shock you. This is because touching the ground would create a closed circuit and touching another powerline would created a shorted circuit. If you were just hanging from the one powerline and not touching the ground or another circuit, all that would flow through you is current and theoretically you would be fine

Gleaming the Cube was my favorite movie growing up, it made me want to skateboard. I never gave it an honest effort until now... I’m 40 and just learned how to Ollie. I dont have anywhere to skate exept grass sadly I learned to shove it and sort of Ollie but when I get on concrete im too scared to roll and do the tricjs :0

Penguiboo just skate around your block and try ollies or just riding. Thats how i learned to ollie while moving cuz I didnt wanna get judged at the park

Yeah gleaming the cube is one of my favs entire bones brigade was christian slater’s double, love his angsty 80s montage w the awkward Rodney Mullen spot, tony hawk delivering Pizza Hut, plot is actually really interesting and not about skateboarding. Some vague philosophical stuff too. Love that one.

Slightly less sick is suddenly realising that the cars in the past scenes in the movie were 30 years old at time of filming, so the equivalent scene today would be set in 1990, 3 years after the "current day" in the film.

The way he laughs is legendary 😂🙌🏼

So the next three video's (10 months later) could be: -treehouse above the mini -back 2 the future board, with Jason running the car. -roadtrip full movie

I love how awesome arson is I'd like it if you guys would do a thing were u build a ramp or viewers build a ramp and u have to say if it's a bodge or hack
