I agree with cr thakur, This is a magnificent film golden era of Indian film Industery. I was very lucky to see most of Raj kapoor & Nagis movies during my childhood in Rasht , Iran . I would remember the songs w/o understand Hindi but memorized the traslation . It is impossible to say which one is the best because it would be a grave insult to the movie lovers.

Thanks for English subtitles, so people like me from different country can watch and understand Bollywood movies!

Watching it in July 2020. Love it so much. No movie of Raj Kapoor is bad. Raj Kapoor has always wanted to dwell in people’s hearts & indeed he has. Nargis, beautiful person inside out & super talented. We are all really blessed & lucky to able to see these movies ❤️

Just consider this, the background music used in this movie was actually the song 'Jane kha gye wo din' in movie 'Mera naam joker' which released in 1970 17 years after this movie. Simply amazing

The film :Aah could not achieve box office success like RK's earlier 2 films viz.Barsaat and Awara.But it was a greatand very touching movie,where Shankar Jaikishan once again excelled witn beautiful and melodious songs with very sweet voice of the Great Lata Mangeshkar.Simply outstanding and unforgetable musical score by SJ.

Excellent story and better than many super hit movies

This was the time when Streptomycin came to the market and saved hundreds of thousands of lives in India...

A Super love story movie.....1953 till 2021 to best now digital era

I hate rollercoaster rides; this movie epitomizes emotional rollercoaster. I laughed, smiled, and cried during this movie - every time for over 50 times that I have seen it. I have also seen the original version with its tragic ending. I wish I could see that again also. What can I say about the music and the songs. One of the best movies ever that I have ever seen.

step by step film world improved in nation , special in mumbai R K have,too, improved his art of presentation in this movie. we must learn it n follow in present age of film production.

It was also dubbed in Telugu and Tamil by Raj Kapoor. The songs and movie were hits in dubbed version also. Much later made in Telugu as Premabhishekam and in Tamil as Vazhve Maryam with few changes. Unforgettable songs

Exactly which year was it when you saw the movie Aah in the 1950s in RWP? My impression is that this movie was NOT exhibited here in the same year as its original release in India in 1953. I’m just curious to refresh my memory.

⁠​⁠​⁠@@Salman_Zahurlol sorry for any confusion i was born in the 90s but my grandfather had all the vhs tapes of old indian classics from the 40 50 and 60s.. hence my childhood in rwp went by on these old films. No official cinema played these movied as far as I knew
