Despite being 1958 film it showed women in much better ways than the later films did. Renu and Sheela driving alone, women open the bonnet and have understanding of mechanics, women fighting with men, standing up for their rights, and the end scene scene where girls are driving and the boys are on the back seat. It's truly amazing.

I think it’s a cult classic because of the people in it. The genius Kishore Kumar, very funny Anoop Kumar, the legend dada moni and strikingly beautiful Madhubala. Of course music, script all put together. Not a shade of vulgarity but worth multiple times watch.

It was really a very great and nice movie ❤❤ Kishore Kumar is so versatile, he can do anything, ie singer, actor, director, producer... He was just awesome.. I just love kishore jee.. And madhubala is also very beautiful, she was the real dream girl of the Hindi film industry... The entire movie was awesome... Watching it in lockdown with my grandfather was a blessing for me... Magicg of Chalti ka Naam Gadi can never be created again.......all three Kumar brothers anoop,kishor and ashok along with madhubala and Mohan choti are fabulous actors, great direction by satyen and fantastic music by burman.. lovely lyrics, singing and cinematography too. Great team work. All in all a greatEST musical comedy Hindi films has produced. Also lovely to see Bombay of the sixties.

I don't think these type of simplicity , natural acting , singing will never be seen due to nepotism , fake publicity , Etc etc . I think it was good era 😅❤️💪 my personal opinion

One of the evergreen movies….Kishore Madhubala chemistry is excellent, her acting skills are outstanding..right from expressions to dialogues, even in black and white she looks so beautiful

I grew up watching this! My Dadi's favorite movie and Madhubala was her favorite actress! Just rewatched Mughal-E-Azam 🙏🏽 Dilip Kumar and Madhubala.

I just love this movie.. whenever I want a good laugh, I see these cute people and laugh my heart out.. I love all the actors.. I just love the way it is made with so much sweetness. I heard that Madhubala and Kishore were married when she passed away. it is just a dream to be married to such a lovely woman.. it is a dream to see them both together.. Old is Gold really!!!
