A52S test 10.2 conversion High banker and dredge.

This is our latest testing on upgrading our A52S sluice box. This is our first high production backpack high Banker dredge. The is designed to handle about 1/2 yard per hour with no problem even in stubborn clays and conglomerate rock. Can handle both a 2" or 2.5" dredge hose as well. Folds down for a small package making it perfect for backpacking into remote untouched areas.

We are going out again this weekend. I will try to add priming the pump. There are just so many things to cover it is hard to fit it in on a video. I hate to go over 30 minutes due to short attention spans.

Go over 30 min? That equipment is heavy. Make innovation. Create riffles from plastic pipe on 1-st floor. And all down floor can be plastic....No big rocks there.

Good idea! We have played with the plastic rubber etc riffles in the past it just hard to compete with the durability of a steel riffle. You can through them around set things on top with no issues. We have even tried aluminum rifle, however, the first time you drop them they are tweaked out of shape. Plus we are using the standard riffles that come in the A52S sluice box. All we are doing is adding on some trick screens to slow the water down.

Yep, that little motor/pump kicked butt, I have it on my 2" Keene dredge. The spray bars look a lot better and I like the grizzlys closer together like ya did. 👍🇺🇸⛏

Cool little trick u could use the hose for (that thing is so useful.) I dont know if it will work for mosquitos but flys.. I was sluicing in trinity county with this girl who never been mining. She was from L.A. like some kinda clothes model or something no joke...but the flys where biting and buzzing everywhere she was just watching getting attacked too from the sidelines lol. So she took a bucket and dowsed all the boulders in our area in the creek with water. And the flys bounced. Not gonna lie I was kinda stunned...but yeah that hose is a multi tool can even cool the area down in the heat remove spiders bugs ants bees stop a cig fire ward off bear...and many other things besides blasting that bedrock. But yeah good setup the videos are great thanks for sharing your equipment allways entertaining when doing trial and error and sharing.

As an engineer student for over 35 years, this evolution looks well built, good tests, and the video series documents the different cycles of adaptive components. Kudos to the team! Would there be any opportunities for a guy to try this as a “ brand ambassador?” I live in NE Ohio, and we have completely different soils/ topography than in California. I’d like to do a video series on KZread, if given a “ test unit “ to outline, from a beginners perspective, likes/ dislikes, non-destructive testing, timing to set up, clean up, effectiveness at different measured angles, suggested changes, and of course video feedback/ comments, etc. Is this something you guys would consider? I’m really interested if you guys would be!

Looked good i liked the rubber flapper on hopper for the hose! Id like to see the bar that holds hopper up not be in riffle action but hey im not there to see but all in all looks great! & oh and that hose for clean outs those are a must

The blaster hose is a must what a difference!!! The hopper support bare has no real impact on the riffle board. The thing that I love is the pump, is works so well and hardly drinks any fuel.

Also put a flap and pad on the grizzley bars so nothing goes down the back of the top screen and also added a flap to keep the flow going into bars no air in this Tell ya what its nice having my swimming pool for testing everything kind of like having my own race track to test cars Ha Ha Johnny B is code 6

Nice video! wondering if you have those mesh screens on the new A52S models? Also, wondering if you are using a different pump for that spray nozzle or just tying it in from the same pump? I couldn't see the source of power? Thanks

With the a52 10" wide 2.5 is max. A larger sluice 12" wide would be 3". A larger 20" to 30" wide box would be 4"

So in certain states, national Forrest, blm ect they don't allow you to dredge the putter bank or above the water line. So you have to know your locations rules before you do any prospecting or dredging/highbanker do as much research as possible because if us as a group keep breaking the rules knowingly or not we will lose our rights to enjoy this age old hobby. I family new as well but an old man I met and corrected me or scolded me for removing dirt well he stopped me and told me know your laws because ignorance doesn't give you the right. MeNing just because we don't know that it was illegal doesn't give us a pass. So we all have to be kind to our land and show the new generation the right way of doing things and if they don't know its our job to show them but be polite about it. I've had to learn from not so polite guys

I love that comment I will have to share it with my brother Patrick. The little shovel does work well around the rocks. The ground there is really hard to dig in.
