My friend nice video ,but gs mini is not a function of auto thrust , even if a/t is inop, and fms is in approach phase and speed is managed the gs mini will come
I still can't understand what is Speed Mode & Thrust Mode when do we use it? what is its advantage? thanks

Speed mode is when speed is fixed and thrust is varied to maintain that speed where V/S shall be fixed. Thrust mode is when a selected speed is maintained using fixed thrust (idle or climb). Speed here is then maintained varying the pitch of the aircraft and V/S is disregarded. Speed mode is good when ATC constantly tells you to maintain speed and in densely filled airspace you can't ignore V/S else it'll generate TCAS warning. So good in such descend cases. Thrust mode is mostly by default used during climb and unrestricted continuous descend into smaller airfields where traffic is relatively less dense. Saves little more fuel when thrust is idle during descend, you should be good at descend planning to actually be able to save any fuel using thrust idle mode.

Explanation of speed mode is correct however, in thrust mode, the auto thrust becomes a function of thrust demanded which cannot exceed the max thrust demanded by the Active thrust mode. Please do revert if I’m incorrect.

In thrust mode it's simple, the pitch controls the speed. Be it open climb be it open descend etc. The speed is maintained by moving the pitch up or down.

TLA - Thrust Lever Angle
You could be in DES and SPEED mode together. OP DES however, is a thrust mode.

Climb is used for climb, cruise mostly and also till landing. Climb detent is where the auto thrust takes care of engine power automatically and the thrust levers are at climb detent 99.9% of the flight time with auto thrust automatically adjusting power as per flight requirement such as climb, cruise, descend etc.
