    The abnormal law is really in case of aircraft upset which would most likely happen when crossing wake turbulence of another aircraft. Extremely unlikely, but now mandatory training in Upset recovery training.

    Thank you very informative. For AF447, why did it shift into alternate law and not abnormal attitude law when aircraft was essentially in a flat spin and maintained this attitude all way down? Would the parameters of abnormal attitude law not have worked to recover the aircraft ?

    Regarding the manual flight controls under Normal Law: I was under the impression that the plane would hold a selected Fligth Path Vector, and not pitch/bank (within the 33 deg AOB). Is this correct, or not? Further I would like to say that I really enjoy your videos. Great work!

  • @poh

    @poh

    7 жыл бұрын

    When you are in the HDG V/S mode there is no flight path vector. So in that case it is always whatever pitch/bank you set it up, it shall maintain that. And thanks! :)

    That's correct what you post! It's not the pitch that is maintained but the G-load demand! Therefore be careful what you believe from the internet 👍🏼

    It must be incredibly difficult to fly with direct side-stick after getting used to normal law. Do pilots have to regularly practice flying approaches in each law ?

  • @poh

    @poh

    6 жыл бұрын

    Yes during training pilots practice in each law in the simulator and to be honest it's not that difficult if your situational awareness is good.

    Hey guys. Yours videos are awesome. Thank you for doing this! However getting information from FCOM and putting it here is easy. Right? I recommend you to put video of explanation. For example, yeah FCOM says maximum 67 degrees but is it maximum? Why can’t you fly more than 67 degrees? Is there any explanation of that? So it’s better to dig deeper rather than reading from the FCOM limitations memory items or QRH etc.

    Sir why Elac 2 is no go?

  • @poh

    @poh

    6 жыл бұрын

    Because ELAC 2 is master ELAC and has primary control over Elevator. ELAC 1 is standby one.

  • @ajaysinghbisht5188

    @ajaysinghbisht5188

    6 жыл бұрын

    coz if u deactivate elac 2(if it was under mel, in real its not), than elac 1 will control pitch via both elevator blue actuator, but in case blue sys failure during flt both blue act will be of no use and elac 1 is electrically ok and it will not sft crls to sec 2 resulting in loss of pitch ctrl via elevator hence its no in nature.

    Name of protection is PITCH ATTITUDE PROTECTION and not HIGH PITCH ATTITUDE PROTECTION. in more than 33 bank .. pitch trim is not available or auto pitch trim not available .. What about manual pitch trim.. Pitch trim not svailable leads to neither auto pitch trim nor manual pitch trim
