    Note to all new aviators watching this - this is a fantastic study guide, but terrible form for an actual oral exam. Say as little as you need to. The more you offer up, the more you can potentially mess up, and open up a can of worms. If at all possible, if you can answer with a simple “yes” or “no,” do that!

  • @TheSkysnake

    Can’t disagree with that advice! I suspect these guys are both check airman doing a “mock” oral for training purposes. Nevertheless, you are correct. If the check airman asks you what time it is, give him the time. Don’t build the clock! :)

  • @ahmadtheaviationlover1937

    @ahmadtheaviationlover1937

    V2 or v1 which ever comes first implements the SRS which commands 10kts plus or minus providing the speed needed in case of engine failure after v1 or v2. It has a maximum of 15kts max to prevent it from exceeding certain parameters such as the green dot speed where the lift coefficient is at its maximum

    @@mohnkhanth2541 If I am not wrong, the FCOM and all that is even on the internet for free. There is even an underrated channel in German tho, called Captain Ingo where an Airbus A320 Captain literally teaches the airplane for free, hours and hours of content. The internet is the internet.

    I can answer my own question with why the bloke is saying AUTOTHROTTLE. This is prime material for evidence that people don't like change. This video must have been shot shortly after United began their Airbus operations. Pilots, as we are, don't want to go against the law of primacy, so the douche examiner is hard-wired to say Autothrottle despite Mr. Two-tone insisting on saying the correct AutoThrust.

    The same. An A320 from 1988 uses the same systems and parts as one from 2018.

    It’s the same. And airplane manufactures keep it the same on purpose so pilots don’t have to repeat this multiple times

    lol, I would never be able to pass this United oral shit... I guess I am not hirable with them as I am flying an A320 for the past 10 years and cannot care less about what happens past the mmo specially if I will continue holding the sidestick forward as that would never happen anyways 😂. Oh well, they pay better in China... 😅

    Caesar Vizcarra HELITECH, well that depends on how rookie you are... China, unlikely, as they have an unlimited number of their own FOs. but you can definitely try Hong Kong. I think Hong Kong Express is currently hiring non type rated FOs... checkout their website! good luck!

    Since you have been flying this bird for the past 10 years is it really important to know that much !!? And that makes me wonder how tough is the oral in most airlines (speaking generally)
