The more I see of Judd, the more I realise what a gentleman he is - he does seem like a decent person. Ronnie is simply the GOAT, I was so nervous for him, especially when Judd made the comeback in afternoon.

Greatest of all time. A national treasure. The timeless Ronnie O'Sullivan.

I tear in my heart when He lifts the trophy. Ronnie is the reason for many to watch the sports, learn the game, play the game and appreciate the snooker world. Much more than that, he gives so much of inspiration as a human being. He is not perfect, just like everyone, but he definitely a great inspirational figure to last forever. One day he is gonna retire for sure, but I really wish that he make 1 more champion next year!

O'Sullivan is the reason why I watch snooker. Such a natural player, as if he didn't have to learn how to play. The Rocket = snooker. In the same way as Messi in football, Woods in golf and Federer in tennis. Talent, grace and finesse.

21 majors now, very difficult to see any snooker player beating that total, absolute legend

This win was exeptionally special to me. Me and Ronnie share the same age, been following him since he started as a pro when he was 17, so he gave me joy and exitement for almost 30 years now. Never in doubt that he's the greatest of all time. So proud of you Ronnie!☺️🙏🏻❤️

Amazing it was so long ago now. I remember watching him win the UK championship in 93 and willing him on back then. I was 13 at the time, since then it's been great to have him playing so long. Still a few years left all being well.

Couldn't be more chuffed, practiced with the guy for hours, played him competitively also, never seen Ronnie overcome ever, until tonight. He's a great, humble guy that doesn't like attention about himself personally, yes he creates controversy but this is to get people talking about anything but himself as a person, a clever sensitive guy who is now THE GREATEST OF THEM ALL.

@@lfmm97 yes mate, in practice he was just fun and not at all serious, he didn't mind losing frames but I did win some, when we played as pro's he won 5-3 it's that long ago, before his dad was sent down 1993-4, he was watching the game while out on bail before his sentence

I played Ronnie at Wandsworth snooker club,in one of the handicaps that used to be played across North and South London,he put in a 78,then a 96,game over,the money for the light wasn't even a pound. The emotion that came out of Ronnie has been building for a long time,at his age to regain the Number 1 status is nothing short of spectacular.There will never be another like him,he's a phenomenon.

He's been in top top form all throughout the tournament, and his mindset really has become much different than it was in past years, which seems to be benefitting him a great deal. There's absolutely no reason why he couldn't win the Worlds another time or two if the stars align.
