I swear, I don’t know why anyone watches a video on a livestock channel just to complain about the animal. Yes people, Bison were almost wiped out but thanks to ranchers who care about this animal they are able to exist and thrive again. The fact that there are sales and interest in these bison goes to show that their numbers are once again increasing and that’s a great thing for humans and bison!

Such a beautiful animal 🦬. The 1st time I saw a bison I went on a field trip to Magic Mountain. On the other side of the mountain there was a train ride and there they were! Our teacher gave us a quick history of the bison. Some of us being from the inner city had never seen a bison 🦬 before. I don’t think our local zoo had any back either.

Bison have just returned to the UK following an absence of thousands of years, thanks to a pioneering scheme to reintroduce these mammals to one of south-east England's largest areas of ancient woodland. All the best from the UK.

White Buffalo Calf Woman.
I remember several years ago a man had a white buffalo calf born. Ted Turner offered the guy a million dollars for it and he turned it down. His reason had to do with respect for Native Americans' culture about the white buffalo . As the buffalo grew its coat color changed colors and ended up a color only a little lighter than a normal buffalo.

As it was explained to our family, the white buffalo coat goes through color changes the reflect the Native American belief of the Four Colors of Man (White to Yellow to Red to Black) to whom the are to bestow a blessing upon their arrival. Yes.
I remember going to an auction near San Angelo, Texas with my great grandaddy Ed and my grandfather Ray. I was probably about 8 years old, and all about the animals and ranch life (some things never change), begging to go with. Didn't hurt that Both those sweet men adored the little girl I was back then. I saw a group of 4-5 white buffalo there. My remembrance is that they were second generation from bison crossed with Charolaise. Or maybe it was another "fancy-sounding" breed. I was just a kid, but breeding small animals was already in my wheelhouse, with dreams of breeding horses and cattle, so I soaked up knowledge on the subject like a sponge. After the auction, we all went to visit a nearby client of Grandaddy Ed's (a Scurry County veterinarian) who had bison and sheep outside of town. They had a bottle baby bison calf at the time and I think I had a shot of taking it home with me, just for a moment there. Momma would'a had a cow! ;) New sub here. Loving your content so far.

If it were an Albinoi it would likely have pink eyeballs. Myself I would not want mix breed Bison/Cattle. You should have an idea of the Bisons that you want, that would come with experience. I would be more interested in size, coloration, and ease of handling them rather than shooting for a price. Buying from an individual rather than an auction you can get a lot more information from the Rancher on the history of the animals heritage.
