Paull’s or Wheeling made their own glass. NCL had their own glass company that also made canning jars, for Ball. Cool history!

Oh yeah also in all brands what were some of the original colors any brands 😊

I know this is off topic, but commenting here is the only way I know of contacting you. I saw your video on highway torches and your WPA lantern. I have a torch (smudge pot) marked US CCC (Civilian Conservation Corp.). I would be glad to send you a photo if you are interested. In addition, I saw your one on the spring top lantern and looking over my small collection, I found that I have one of these. But mine does not have the markings on the upper tubes or the blow hole. Do you know anything about this lantern? I might sell or trade. Hope you reply.

Wow, a CCC marked torch? Sounds neat! I’d have to see a photo of the lantern to give a fair estimate. I’ll post my email so you can send a picture or two.
