Thank you for these videos. Truly appreciate the natural sound and visuals. Originally from Indiana and no longer physically able to hike or readily get immersed in nature. These take me back to a time I could. Just like being there.

Due to Covid-19 we are stuck in Florida. Got to get back home to Michigan. Thanks for the video, reminds me of my deer blind in Kalkaska Michigan, wish I was deer hunting at this moment. When people say God’s country, they are talking about Michigan, even Trump had to go and see what he has been missing.

Thank you so much for sharing. I've been watching these for a while, and just now subscribed and clicked on the notification bell. Question: Between minutes three and four, the deer look like they have a lot of tumors on them. Is there an explanation for what I'm seeing?
@WatershedWildlife

That happens every year at this time. They are losing their winter coat. They usually change from a dull gray to a nice tan for summer. Welcome to the channel!

We do have coyotes and even fox that chase deer. Here's an example of the coyotes we see on occasion: kzread.info/dash/bejne/dml-lredg6nan84.html They seem larger than western coyotes to me.
No better place to be while self-isolating. What is it that makes this point such an attractive crossing for so many different kinds of critters?
@WatershedWildlife
4 жыл бұрын
I suspect that it's because it's a wide spot where the water is shallow.
👏👏👏👏
Great video. 2 questions: 1. Does the water moving trigger the camera? 2. What camera is this? Thanks for sharing!
@WatershedWildlife
4 жыл бұрын
The camera is triggered by infrared radiation (IR) or the heat given off by objects. Moving water or blowing leaves can trigger it in some circumstances if there are abrupt changes in reflected heat the camera detects. Usually not a problem. The camera is a Browning 1920X1080 res.
The turkeys are easier to count when they are crossing the stream! 😀

They seem to like single file.
Is that a creek or stream?

Might be a crick. Guess it depends where it is.

Is it a creek or a stream? Yes.
About 10 minutes into the video, I heard a black capped chickadee. They're my favorite songbird and I got so excited thinking he was outside my window (we're not supposed to have them here in south Florida). I stopped the video and went outside and he stopped....lol. Yeah, feeling kinda dumb right now.
