    Pretty fun and fascinating to watch----I didn't even know bobcats could swim. Never seen that before. And it was fun to watch the ducklings scamper across the log, the baby bear almost slip off the log, and the bobcat leaping into the air like it was gliding past the cameta, lol.

    The porcupine talking at 4:08 cracks me up. I just love these videos. My late dad was a great outdoorsman - I grew up watching him trap, hunt and fish. Last year when he was sick I showed your videos to him on his tablet and he really enjoyed them. Thank you for gifting this to us.

    What always gets me is the heron's neck stabilization. I've seen chickens do it, I know birds have specialized muscles for that kind of thing, but it's just so cool to watch. It's so much more pronounced on a bird that's like 50% neck.

    @@gyyuyuinjail6716 The white foam that can be seen by the shore or pressed against the log. Some can easily be seen at 0:10 (and 0:20, and there it almost looks like floating snow), but it also appears throughout the video. According to the end of the video, it forms due to decaying material such as leaves and twigs.

    I love watching these log logs. ;o) Even more so now that I looked up the causes of foam on creeks, and found that in most places it's natural, caused by the breakdown of organic life - mostly vegetation and insects.

    There is indeed. As a hunter I assume you know what it is, but for those who don't it's a metal research band issued by the USGS with an individual number stamped on it. It allows biologists to track bird populations. If you ever find a dead bird with a metal band on its leg, please open it and call the phone number inside.

    @@saintsataniko2116 Just because you seem a bit confused, he wasn't saying to call the number if you killed the bird, but merely that if you happened upon a bird's body with a band, such as roadkill or simply the remains of another animal's hunt, to do so so the biologists can properly track their data.

    ​@@saintsataniko2116 ​ your point disregards the fact that many people hunt for reasons other than just "for fun". hunting is still a valid way that MANY families make money, or get their food to eat. sometimes hunting is also important so that certain animal populations can be regulated, since if their groups grow too large it may put the ecosystem out of balance. many hunters are also big advocates for helping the environment, and put money and time into conservation. i promise, hunting is far from the black and white situation it may seem to some
