So jealous of those green lanes still. Bike sounds great, mad that people try stop you so much being that bitter they'd even put a burnt out car in your way :D I haven't seen slimy mud like that in a long time :D RIP bog of eternal wetness. It is very easy to accidentally forget to do things. It happens. Tender nads. A box truck.......surely there was an easier way for him to go :D I love seeing big mad birds like that. Do a wheelie over the children don't want to bend your forks. :P (For any angry people this is what we call a joke) Actually looks like so so much fun 😢I need to find some dirt. I know I moan a bit about how little trail riding we have compared to other places, but we are very lucky to have what we have available to us, I do appreciate it, but it would be nice to be able to get to more places on them, I'd probably use them as my preferred routes to places if we could more practically do so. It was the wire that someone put across it at neck height that is more scary, I think it was that lane. I am terrible for not getting stuff done... I hate planning, much prefer just going, but some things require plans 😀 There was a much easier way for him to go, it mostly involved tarmac too, with just a short gravel road had he gone the right way, it is just good he remembered how tall his van was! 😀 It makes my day seeing nature doing it's thing like that, the bird was stunning. I heard that was the recommended way to dispatch of the hoards of children! 😀 You do mate, am sure there must be some near ish to your new lair...

I think you two should name these the "big and little rides". You on the big bike and him on the little bike..." thanks for posting!

😂 Neutral is like an extreme version of TC Pete. No wheel slipp in neutral ! Will get you anywhere ( well, nowhere is probably somewhere, right ? ) Nice one 😂 Great to see you out on the trails again. I thought initially that you'd picked a nice dry time to ride but no, it's Hippo Drones, so of course you managed to find some mud ! You two always seem to have so much fun together and I am really envious of your green lanes ( although not of the mud, obviously ). It's certainly very different to my rocky and sandy mountain trails. Would be nice to try one of your trails for a change ! I'm now banned from off-road riding until October, so last weekend Norman got his much needed wash and looks like a road bike once again ! Cheers Pete. Love from Spain ! Hahaha... indeed it is, these modern bikes have all the latest technology to ensure traction, if not forward momentum! :-D If there is no mud, did we really ride? :-D It is always fun to hang out with Fish, he is a very awesome chap, and much giggles are had out on the trails with him :-) I think we all look with envy at what others have, I'd love your trails to be available to us too... is funny though, yours get restricted in summer and ours get restricted in winter!

@@HippoDrones Hmmmm.....live in the UK in the summer and come out to Spain in the Winter could be the answer 🤔 But post Brexit I think that would probably be too much of a faff to be viable. Oh, and I'd need to be rich, which is probably the more pressing issue 😂

You can ride off into the sunset Pete... just need floats when you hit the ocean 😆 But yes, we're so lucky here, if we want to ride for days in one direction - no limits! Like you though, time is accelerating, and less and less of it is spent on the bike. Needs must... Nice work on London Lane - good day getting back into it mate, could actually tell at what point you relaxed into it 😼

Hey, a trail ride! It always comes through in the videos how much you enjoy it. I’m still amazed at how well you’re able to wrangle that big bike around all those ruts and roots, uphill and down! No shame knocking it in to neutral. I’ve done that at stop lights once or twice. Then you really look like an idiot when the light turns green. 🤣

Nice video, I've gotta say I felt for you guys having only those riding opportunities. Here in Oz I can ride into the sunset until I run out of water and die. I love blighty (was born there and spent a lot of time there) but for off road stuff, give me Oz.....now for road touring, that's a totally different story, wish Europe and Ireland and Scotland an Wales were on our doorstep here....

Thanks Tony. Aye... you do have it good in Aus. It'd be ace to have the freedom you have here and in Scotland and Ireland. Wales is quite green lane friendly, am hoping to get some trail riding done over there at somepoint. I also hope to visit Aus on a bike one day too... but that is a dream most likely sadly

I enjoyed that mate. I really must get my thinking head on and cone ride with you. Perhaps 2025 and a combined camping trip somewhere?

I actually thought you dug yourself in too. Did not notice the neutral light 😁 / Couriers life is not easy 🤣 They trust their navigation here too much too. And then we need to send actual offroaders to pull them out, because there is nothing that will reach the rut, they get their vans in to.

I'm sticking a comment in🤔😀 YAY LANING RIDE!!😃 Pretty sure we did all those lanes, that puddle was bl#@dy DEEP when we went!!😳 We also went DOWN that London Lane🥺 I remember it distinctly because A) of the tunnel at the end and B) because i was terrified and holding on for dear life!!😧 How i made it I have no idea!!😅

😀 I imagine you would have, at least all but the first 2 lanes? London Lane downwards is as intimidating, if not more so than upwards as the bike can run away from you on the steep bits. You don't give your riding ability enough credit mate 🙂

@@HippoDrones I'll have to plot the route then i'll know for sure. we started at Tickfold Farm, Marches Road, Kingsfold, Horsham. Did pisley lane and holdenbrook lanes first. Yes i know, hence holding on for dear life. going faster than i'd like, on the back brake as much as i dare, all over the place in the ruts😬Thank you for the vote of confidence though👍😄
