Thank you for sharing! Can’t wait to try coating my chicken in sourdough. Quick rec for you- you’ll save even more time by not processing your veggies that you bake for soup. No joke I just halve my onions, prick my whole sweet potatoes with a fork, throw on some garlic gloves, maybe a carrot or two and then roast for long enough that everything is soft. The SP and onion skin comes right off and then you can blend easily in your soup!

We had the sourdough chicken today (I have so much discard to use!!) and WOW it was so good!!! One thing that would be helpful is to put the recipe in the captions - sometimes it’s a bit inconvenient to have to find the spot in the video where it says it especially when needing to reference back to it.

@@AKM8829 Very sad. I just watched my MIL go through a lot because of all the GMO foods she eats. She's battled cancer too. Just taking a look at everyone's health these day's has pushed me to try my best to feed my family good....even if it means being in the kitchen all day. Soy sauce was the first thing i hum chucked into the garbage can year's ago when i opened my eyes to all these toxic foods they sell on the store shelves. Even of it says organic, I'm reading the labels. Not sure about Canada, but here in America, even if it says organic, they can still load it with gmo crap and certain toxic ingredients are still allowed. 😫👎🤦‍♀️

@@minnamae25 I'm like that too. It's important. It's not about being too picky to an unhealthy level but prioritising health. I will prioritise when I am making the food in our house. If we go to a party, then I relax a bit once in a while but what I can control, I control. Glyphosate is really horrible. Eating out is so much convenient but I'd spend hours in the kitchen just so I know the quality of food and know that we can enjoy and be nourished. Overtime, eating out has lost its appeal because of how we all feel afterwards. I get organic meat and organic ingredients, it ALWAYS works out cheaper than eating out, which I am willing to sacrifice.

How much quality time do you actually spend with your children? These videos come across as you basically being a full time chef/slave in the kitchen to your family while Keiran and the kids have to busy themselves. Must be hard for the kids to see their mum as always go go go in the kitchen, seems you've prioritised it a little too much

You're seeing a few minute long video of her life, and you're making an assumption that drastic? Most mums are away at work. She's cooking delicious meals to feed her family, and she's crearly there available for a chat, a hug, or anything the kids might need along the way. She's a brilliant mother, and this is exactly what kids should grow up with.

I spend a lot of time in the kitchen because having healthy meals is important for me and my family. My girl is welcomed to join me just as you can see Sarah's kids joins her often too. I think it's a great way for children to learn to cook and as you mentioned prioritise eating well. Plus, this is just a snippet of her day and since she is not showing her kid's faces, there might be a lot of clips cut out where they are actually WITH her.

It isn’t just this video though. It’s all 3 meals every day cooked from scratch. Plus the cleaning in between. It’s got to be large portions of time around each meal. Like 1-2 hours? She does homeschool them though so that’s some quality time.
