That was the time that I lived there, on and off till I was 13. Our apartment building was behind the Riviera Hotel on the hill. I am feeling so nostalgic right now.

I already visited Lebanon and I can say it's a nice & interesting place to go. Unfortunately, the Israeli air soldiers have fun flying over Beirut and shut the power stations or the water tanks found on the roof of the houses. The hotel was in dark, without hydro for a couple of days; generators do not succee to suply all the needs....Everybody in Beirut has POWERFUL flashlights to manage through the dark nights caused by the BAD flying guys.
